Do those who say this not read or understand the very ayaat we recite multiple times in our salaah? “thee alone do we worship and thee ALONE do we ask for help”? Why would I need to ask anyone, apart from Allah, if I need to find someone I’ve lost in Madinah?! I wish that there was a better, less harsh way that one could address this ignorance. What you all need to accept and deal with, is the reality of the matter is, for every refutation, there is a counter refutation. This drama you are engaging in is cyclical. Everytime you say one thing, there’s a response to it. Scholars differed on all these matters. For example, we follow Al Imam Al Nawawi and the Imam tells us when visiting the best of Creation ﷺ , that we should ask Him ﷺ for His intercession and to ask الله عزّ و جلّ to forgive us. You can see this for yourself in the Imam’s book on Hajj and the manner of visiting Madina Munawarra.
