Who's your teacher Allah or authors of the hadith books before our time here in this world ends we must make a choice only Allah or Allah and hadith book authors. One has no doubts in it but on the other side hadith books and seeres all have controversies in them Brothers and Sisters don't forget the ayah in surah nisa ayah 82 Why do they not study the Quran carefully? If it were from other than GOD, they would have found in it numerous contradictions The Muhammed in the Quran is trustable but the one that the hadith books describings are controversial with each others teaching a prophet that doesn't obey the Quran and has super powers beyond human nature that is not the prophet in the Quran please read and have faith only in the books of Allah. Allah is my teacher and his book is where i learn my prophet and religion Allah has forgiven topics not mentioned in the Quran so stop asking about them basically they are not important inshaAllah with the guidance of the lord we will understand Pease choose only one God and to do so is to choose the book of the One and Only

@@raskokaya6759 denying the sunnah is clear cut kuffr and arrogance it is disbelief and your logic is nothing short of diabolical. It is no wonder this is a recent phenomenon and non of the Muslims for centuries held heretical beliefs such as this. Firstly the same people who compiled the Quran compiled the hadith the sunnah. The qirat the recitation the wording the commentary is all preserved via hadith. There is nothing in muttawatir and authentic hadith which contradicts the Quran infact without the hadith you cannot follow the Quran because the intricate details are explained in the hadith. All these claims of hadith issues are always by people who are internet scholars and have never studied hadith sciences. You cannot pray , perform pilgrimage , follow the rules of gusal , details of tayyamum without the hadith. The sunnah which the Quran commands!! Is to follow in multiple verses cannot be known without the hadith narrated and witnessed by the very students of the Prophet. All these Quranites in almost entirety are secular men and women who wish to live like irreligious westerners and to escape the divine laws and Sharia resort to Quran only heretical beliefs. The Quran is the word of God when God says " obey Allah and obey the messenger " or say " if you love Allah follow me" or "when Allah and his messenger decree a matter it is not for believing men and women to have an opinion,," ( surah 33) etc etc you cannot follow him without knowing him and without the sunnah that is impossible hence by consensus of the Muslims these heretical views are disbelief.

JZK Dr. Fatoohi for shedding new light and increasing our understanding of the many beautiful verses in the Glorious Quran that we, as Muslims, have read over and over again without plumbing the depths of wisdom embedded within them. As Allah swt reminds us in Surah Kahf, that if all the seas were ink and all the trees were pens, both would run out before the knowledge of Allah swt would be exhausted. So much for those who think or deny that the Quran is “silent” on the myriad aspects of creation.

Indeed, the biggest and ever lasting miracle is the Quran. I had chills when I read the Quran the first time. From the first page. Even though I didn't know at that time that there are different kind of translations and bought a German translation from an Orientalist, who tried to guide the reader away to believe in the Quran in his foreword, I decided to skip the foreword and read the translation of Quran with open mind. I felt that God is speaking directly to me. I thought, if, if, Muhammad, saw, wrote it, then he must be a crazy narcicistic man, to write a book from a perspective of God, astagfirullah. But as more I read, I understood that it must be really from God, because it did not contain anything crazy, but it was very wise and logical. The Quran does not need beautification, it's beautiful and shines from itself. I liked your discussion with Dr. Fatoohi. You told about your critical approach. It's good to be critical. You have the right type of critical thinking. I differentiate between two different type of cretical thinking. The one is, when you question respectfully, because you want to understand. You concider the evidance and arguments and then you come to an conclusion. The other type is, when you have already your mind made up and creticize in an arrogant way, not concidering any evidence or given explanation, not giving a thought obout the answers, but questioning not for the perpers to get an answer, but question for the perpers to be defined. Thanks for your work. We appreciate it.

Thanks Paul for this valuable video. Amongst the refutation that can convince any rational man is: From the darkness of a paganism society (Quraish) a truthful man raised up and told them stop worshipping idoles and turn to worship only the one who created you, which is Abraham's God and Moses's God Jesus's God. For any rational monotheistic person, surly he can understand that the message of Muhammad (pbh) goes aline with the previous messages. May Allah guide the honest people to the straight way.

@@louay.fatoohi Dr. Louay. I have a question which requires your expertise. Why does the Quran refer to the Gospel as the "Injeel"? Is not Injeel derived from the Greek-Syriac "Evangelion"? Could this mean Prophet Isaa (AS) spread his message in Greek and to Greeks in a more significant manner than historians currently assume?
@louay.fatoohi Жыл бұрын
@@arbitScaleModels You are right that “Injīl” comes from the Greek “euangelion”. But this only indicates that this is the term that was in use in Arabia at the time. The Greek name itself was used among the Greeks to mean “good news” or “reward for good news”. In my book “The Mystery of the Historical Jesus”, I argued that the name comes from the fact that Jesus brought the good news about Muhammad (PBUH), “and bringing the good news about a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Aḥmad” (61:6). I should also mention that the Qur’an also mentions that Jesus said that he was a sent to “the Children of Israel” (3:49), which confirms the limitedness of his mission.
@arbitScaleModels Жыл бұрын
@@louay.fatoohi Thank you Dr. Louay. Two follow up questions. 1) By your estimation, does the Quran use terminology in use in Arabia, or does it prefer terminology which was in use at the historical time of the events (I am thinking of terms such as King rather than Pharoah, Nasarah rather than Christians, and other historical miracles of terminology)? 2) As Judea was highly Helenized. if a God-fearing Greek passed Prophet Isa (AS) would he teach him about the One God, and would he have done it in Greek? Despite the limitedness of his mission, is the extreme exclusivity along racial lines a later development?
@louay.fatoohi Жыл бұрын
@@arbitScaleModels 1) The Qur’an uses terms and names that were known to the Arabs but it also corrects historical mistakes, as in the king/pharaoh and Nasara/Christians cases you quote. 2) I understand the Qur'anic statement that Jesus was “sent to the Children of Israel” as being descriptive, not prescriptive. Jesus would have preached to anyone he met, whether a Jew or not. But where he lived and preached, the shortness of his mission, and how his life on earth ended meant that he only preached to the Jews. It is highly likely that some non-Jews in Palestine were also influenced by him, as the NT suggests, but these were very small in number.

Muhammad s.a.w however , had an exceptional character with Submission and devotion to an extent that earned him "Kauser" and a beautiful promise that his zikr and rank is raised by the mighty Lord ....

Let's turn the tables: *The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. He sighed deeply and said, “Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to it.” [Mark 8:11-12]* Here Jesus is saying no miracle will be given to this generation which implies he did not performed any miracles.
@SamuelGreen-AU Жыл бұрын
The Pharisees are not saying Jesus did no miracles, like the Meccans were saying of Muhammad. Show me a verse in the Bible that says Jesus did no miracle? Your comparison is invalid. The gospel records Jesus doing many miracles but the Qur'an says Muhammad did not. Here are the verses about Muhammad and miracles in chronological order. They say: "If only he would bring us a miracle from his Lord!" Has there not come unto them the proof of what is in the former scriptures? (Qur’an 20:133) Why are not (signs) sent to him, like those which were sent to Moses? (Qur’an 28:48) And nothing has prevented Us from sending signs except that the former peoples denied them. And We gave Thamud the she-camel as a visible sign, but they wronged her. And We send not the signs except as a warning. (Qur’an 17:59) Or you have a house of gold or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read." Say, "Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?" (Qur'an 17:93) And they say, "Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?" So say, "The unseen is only for Allah [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." (Qur’an 10:20) Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things. (Qur’an 11:12) They say, “Why has no sign from His lord been sent down to him?” Say [in response], “God is able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know.” (Qur’an 6:37) They swear their strongest oaths by God, that if a (special) sign came to them, by it they would believe. Say: "Certainly (all) signs are in the power of God: but what will make you (Muslims) realise that (even) if (special) signs came, they will not believe."? (Qur'an 6:109) But they say, "[The revelation is but] a mixture of false dreams; rather, he has invented it; rather, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign just as the previous [messengers] were sent [with miracles]." (Qur’an 21:5) But they say, "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "The signs are only with Allah , and I am only a clear warner." (Qur'an 29:50) Those who do not know say, "Why does Allah not speak to us or there come to us a sign?" Thus spoke those before them like their words. Their hearts resemble each other. We have shown clearly the signs to a people who are certain [in faith]. (Qur’an 2:118) And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide. (Qur’an 13:7) And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, Allah leaves astray whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him]” (Qur’an 13:27)

@@SamuelGreen-AU Who cares what pagans of Mecca says? They are enemies of the Prophet and will deny any miracle calling it "magic" just like the splitting of the moon mentioned in Surah 54. It doesn't matter what Pharisees say either when we have Jesus himself saying no miracle will be given to his people. You are the type of guy who believes Jesus is God because Pharisees said so.
@dtrez3866 Жыл бұрын
Turn the tables? You obviously don't realise the difference between "a sign" and "a miracle". Jesus said that generation will not get "a sign", and in the very next passage jesus perforns "a miracle" and feeds the 5000. Then the next passage after that sjows jesus performing another "miracle" by healing the blind man.
@Duckpo988 Жыл бұрын
@@SamuelGreen-AU Hold on, why does the Quran need to record the miracles by Prophet Muhammad pbuh (although there is one where he splits the moon)? It's a revelation from god. You're demanding God to tell a story about Muhammad to Muhammad.😆 This is a perfect example why we say the bible is corrupted and yet you still don't get it. If we treat the Quran like the Bible, we would put all the hadiths and other teachings of sunnah together and call it word of god.

@@dtrez3866 The Jews wanted to crucify Jesus. Why? To prove their scriptures are correct. A crucified person is cursed by God and the blood should not defile the holy land. They succeed according to the Christians. For Muslims, no they didn't. They crucified a wrong person.

It is not skipped. It is explained in detail in Quran. The whole process is there in many cases. For ahzab: They were surrounded but wind came (it is said invisible angels also came that's how unexpected the result was) which made them back away. (Surah ahzab beginning which I summarized) Badr: Mass slumber to muslims securing them from fear. Rain to make it easier journeys through desert. Kuffar appeared as few to muslims despite being many making killing a group as easy as killing one. Throwing of sand and various killings from muslims were all to the point. (Surah anfal, many verses from relatively beginning). Uhud: Although muslims lost for not following orders (rare case and it was for disobeying), mass slumber came again to make them spiritually recover. (Surah imran) For others, it is not detailed. However Allah alludes to the fact that it was continuous. "Allah had indeed gave victory/aid in many battles and even in Hunain.... and sent armies you can't see....". (Surah tawbah probably, I am saying all these from memory so I didn't give verse numbers as I don't remember). Allah also reminds how these were all foretold. In meccan surah Qamar (when muslims were in persecution) Allah says the people (meccan pagans) will be defeated. Many times Allah records the reactions of muslims as well " this is what Allah promised us and his messenger" (surah ahzab). Then again in surah fath "Allah fulfilled the vision to his messenger in truth...". The great thing about this miracle is its effect is seen in history. A merchant with no soldiers or heir to throne (arabia didn't have rulers or voting system) for the first tine unified Arabia and turned it into a nation that could defeat persians and other nations in few years. On the other hand the miracles of false prophets seem to great but they hardly cause any stirring among people and barely leave any mark in history which makes them suspicious. Bahaullah, joseph smith, qadiani and many others claimed big but hardly achieved anything with their miracles.

Near my house in coast of Kerala in southern Inda, there is a masjid called 'Cheraman Perumal Masjid'. Cheraman Perumal was our king. One day he came to the port where Arab traders arrived to buy spices which they sold to Romans for profit. He asked the merchants: 'Why are you dressed differently this time?" Merchants replied: That is because we are Muslims now. King: what is Muslims? Merchants: That is because we believe in Prophet Muhammed. King: What is Prophet Muhammed? Merchants: He is the one who split the moon into two pieces. King: 'Is that him who spilt the moon? One day I was standing on my porch enjoying the night sky. Then I saw the moon split into two pieces and moving apart. I thought I have gone mad. I called my ministers. They came and looked at moon and confirmed that it has in fact split into two pieces and moved apart. If Prophet Mohammed is the man who did this, I would like to see him'. King Cheraman Perumal left his kingdom for others and went with a small army and crossed the Arabian sea and met with prophet Mohammed. He gave the Prophet picked ginger as present. Prophet liked it. King converted to Islam and wanted to stay with Prophet. Prophet told him to go back and spread the religion. He sent a Persian architect with the king to build a Mosque. On their way back King died in Oman. His tomb in Oman is still visited by faithful. The soldiers came back to Kerala and built a Mosque. This is the second Mosque in the world, the first being the one Prophet built in Medina. That is the story of Cheraman Perumal Mosque. The splitting of Moon was seen thousands of miles away in southern part of India. Most Muslims today do not know about this.

Please Brother Paul can you also include in the introduction of Dr Fatoohi's or any of your guest's reversion story to Islam. It would make it more interesting and also perhaps one day your own journey as well. Jk

Another miraculos surah many of us read each day is surah Al-kawthar (108). God gave the prophet SAW abundance. He won over his enemies. He became leader of all arabs. Hundred of millions of muslims salute him in their prayers every day. People trace noble ancestry from him. This prophesy is all true. God cut off Abu Jahl who went out screaming ”abtara Muhammad”, believing Muhammed SAW was cut off when his son Abdullah died. Abu Jahl died and was cut off in the battle of Badr. This hole surah is a miracle of prophecies.

Assalamu alaykum. Thank you for this beautiful episode. Verse 9:40 can be explained better that Allah sent down His tranquility on the heart of Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, and not the Prophet, peace of Allah be upon him, as Abu Bakr was the one disturbed in that scene, and Allah supported the Prophet with unseen soldiers. You can have "him" more than once referring to different persons in the same sentence in Arabic.

Sa'id bin Jubayr said, "The idolators said: 'O Muhammad, you claim that before you there were Prophets, among whom was one to whom the wind was subjugated, and another who could bring the dead back to life. If you want us to believe in you, ask your Lord to turn As-Safa' into gold for us.' Allah conveyed to him by inspiration (Wahy): 'I have heard what they have said. If you wish, I will do what they say, but if they do not believe after that, the punishment will come down upon them, because after the sign has been sent, there is no room for speculation. Or if you wish, I will be patient with your people and give them more time.' He said: يَارَبِّ اسْتَأْنِ بِهِم (O Lord, give them more time.)

2:18:10 hehe I think our dear brother Paul when he heard the answer, wanted to say "ma Sha Allah" but instead he said "in Sha Allah" so funny every time I hear non native say that :) or so it seems to me he said that. Ma Sha Allah, thanks you guys all may Allah reward you for your effort IN SHA Allah. :) Here is a proof that what Dr. Louay Fatoohi is right:pagans kept demanding a sign from Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, just like people asked for a sign from other prophets and from Jesus, pbuh. Matthew 16:1 to 4 " The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven. He replied,[1] "When evening comes, you say, `It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,'3 and in the morning, `Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away. " Matthew 16 :1-4.. Does this mean That Jesus did not perform miracles? Aside note: This last verse, Matthew 16: 4, that you just read, proves that Jesus did not die, because Jonas did not die in the belly of the fish!! In line with the Quran. 1

2:31:48 Not only is the Quran a contextual book, but it’s also artistic in the way that it presents itself. Especially the Meccan chapters. Artwork of any form has the history and references imbedded into it. For example: when the Arabs said “continuous magic.” The Quran is referencing a series of miraculous events. Nobody blames a poetic work for not containing exhaustive explanations.

Quran is inimitable...very true .. my understanding of this is that Quranic verses have a certain "soul" and have specific contexts ...same words give you different impression in different chapters ... Even today if we try to write something similar to verses of Quran , we'll find that we are unable to put soul in those words just because every single word of Quran is meant for a certain situation and destiny.... Allahu Akbar ... Only The Creator can write the mesmerising verses with such authenticity. The fact that Allah Subhan is protecting this last book himself through his might is very true as we can see a lot of conspiracies have been done against Quran over the centuries but it's here with all it's Awesomeness....... May Allah Subhan opens up its true meanings upon all of us today ..living in 2024 .......ameen ya Rabbal Aalimeen !

Another of the Holy Qur'an' s miracles: Surah al Masad(chapter 111 in the Qur'an). One of the arch enemies of Islam( Abu Lahab) is condemned together with his wife to die as disbelievers in surah al Masad. Abu Lahab lived for more than ten years after the revelation of this surah. He could with the support of other disbelievers have challenged the Qur'an , by hypocritically "convert" to islam,and thus the enemies of islam would have proven the Qur'an wrong, but it never happened.Both Abu Lahab and his wife died disbelievers, despite the fact that the disbelievers plotted and planned all sorts of intrigues against the Prophet( peace be upon him) , his message and the followers of islam.
