Note on Grade 1 Bare Root Roses: When evaluating bare root roses you've received, please understand that not every vendor lists their roses as Grade 1. Before placing an order, ensure that you understand what size is being promised. Also keep in mind that roses come in all different shapes and sizes, and some are more vigorous than others. Own root bare root roses can be lighter and smaller than a grafted rose of the same variety, but quickly catch up once planted in the garden.

More Chardonnay and Miller, please :D These Regan bare roots are beautiful ! Mine should be coming in two weeks, so excited! Regan's customer service is excellent like you said, Kim :) Maria is honest and easy to communicate with. I unfortunately had two roses got canceled due to the growers' short of supply which I think is utterly unfair to Regan. Hopefully it won't happen again. For anyone out there that are looking for rose trees, Regan has a big rose tree selection that most online vendors don't have. LOVE these unboxing videos, thanks, Kim ;)

I bought two roses from them last year. One was distant Drums and then I got an email saying it was not a grade 1 rose bush and they refunded me 1 dollar. I was disappointed but still happy to get this rosebush. I bought a Abe Darby last year in store and it was huge and so healthy. It was around 70.00 dollars.

Hmmm I’m pretty sure I see more than 4 stuff members at Regan every time I go. I’m glad you have good experience getting support from them. I know many people local in the Bay Area complain about customer services. But they do have the best inventory and their price for preordered bare root is great. They cut my order for a rose this year. But when I went to pick up the rest of my order last month. I saw they have it in the pot. Basically they put bare root in paper pot and add dirt. Guess how much is their potted rose? 59.99+ tax

Regan is always my first choice for non DA , Roses . They are at drivable distance from my place, so no shipping cost for me !!!. I really like the vast selection of choices they offer , absolutely best in online order . They also carry the biggest collection in the bayarea at their nursery. Alden in Livermore comes 2nd in that regards Absolutely love their staff and their support , I went there in person to pick up my roses ( I think late Jan , early Feb), and staff was very welcoming and nice to talk to , even though they were overwhelmed by the number of people showed up to get their bareroot with normal nursery customers Their price for potted roses are bit on high side , like non DA is around $49.99 and DA around $59.99 ( if I remember correctly)

Funny you should mention grading roses. David Austin doesn’t grade roses. I was shocked when I received one of my heritage rose.
