My late Mom exposed me to lots of incredible music from various genres. She would play her albums on saturdays while we cleaned the house. I was hearing the Carpenters, Ray Coniff and his singers, Mahalia Jackson, Mario Lanza, Linda Ronstadt, Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavoratti, Peter, Paul and Mary, and loads more. Later, she introduced me to the Three Tenors, and then Il Divo. Losing the phenomenal Carlos Marin was devastating. A year ago in September, my daughter and I saw them here in Sacramento, and it was amazing. At that point, they were still doing the concerts to honor Carlos, and many tears were falling... from the group as well. They had a spotlight on his vacant stool as they sang Hallelujah, and they used a recording of his voice to "sing with Carlos again.". Steven gave them that moment out of respect. They're just incredible!!

@@EricRManning No problem. I'm a complete classic rock lady, but I'm eternally grateful that my mom in particular gave me a love of many arts including my daughter as well! We saw the live performance of the Lion King which was phenomenal, Carmen, the Nutcracker, Phantom of the Opera, etc. I also inherited her love of impressionist paintings (like Monet & Van Gogh), because she took me to the Crocker Art museum here in Sacramento. My daughter has also gained a love of all the arts as well, so Mom's legacy lives on. The 5th anniversary of her death is November 30th, & I actually have a request. Could you please add the live performance of Nights in White Satin covered by Il Divo? It would be a magnificent way to honor Mom's memory. I miss both my parents, but dad died extremely young, so he never heard Il Divo. I hope you have a great day!!
