Ok. Followed the steps. Now I need to watch it in reverse.

This was MOST appreciated. The other guy skipped the bezel, then he talked on and on about the manufacturers HDD connectors. If you've never changed a hard drive, DON'T disassemble a laptop right? Anyhow, your video was thorough and to the point. In other words: dope, thank you.

Hello, thank you for such a nice comment!!! Yes, people should be careful with drill. Stripping the screws can bring such a huge pain to remove it some times ... so, I hope no one will have problem like that!! :) Looks like you did a great job!!!

been doing this for 28 years and I always loosened the screws and then used my drill. Loved the drill!!

Hi. First of all, thank you very much for this video. It helps me to disassembly my HP Pavilion DV2700. I need to clean the cooler. If its not done, I will have a serious problem. Congratulations from Brazil. Hey guys, if you need additional details, you may find the manual of DV2700 in google.

Hi Greg, thank you for comment and sorry for messages, I don't really use it. I just wonder, if you run a computer repair shop, don't you have already all tools that are needed to fix everything? :) I think every tech is get use to some tools and it is pretty much doesn't matter what others are using. Except if it is much better, you know what I mean. Screwdrivers Stanley, drill SKIL Camera setup is pretty easy. Regular camcorder from canon. I don't really like my setup, need more space :)

Been there, done that, it really helps, since I never had the need to disassemble the screen but I will, soon. As someone else said, I wouldn't recommend using that kind of "drill", but sure it seems to fasten the whole process. BTW, I'll play with some processors, any recommendation? Do you think it can hold a T7600 Core 2 Duo?
@regazzz10 жыл бұрын
I think if cheap set will handle it - TBU is important if it will be not too hot for a fan...
@1stLuis10 жыл бұрын
The difference is 31W vs 34W, so I'm guessing it'll be safe. Chipset, 945GM says that it's supported. Same socket, same FSB. All I'm wondering is if the BIOS will recognize it.

+stormbringer that's great, thanks for sharing! Yeah, know for overheating. Some people making more holes in a case bottom, I think the easiest way would be a new laptop. :)

I didn't check, but I'm sure you did remove the screws at that location. I wasn't going step by step with the video though and it's just an easy screw to miss. Was just trying to give an extra word of warning to those reading the comments.
