Why would he come back for 2 to 3 episodes to a show that requires intense preparation when he has been catapulted into stardom. His time isn't worth it. There are ways to fire someone without saying directly you are fired

It could be that he was signed on for the first season and maybe let go till he is needed in others as the story goes. The story line isn’t about him and home leaving isn’t a good or bad thing it just is.

Shonda Rhimes has publicly praised him and supported him: I doubt very seriously that he's been fired. If anything, he accepted another job after completing Bridgerton and before his popularity soared. Most likely, he's in a "bubble" with his new job and can't travel and quarantine in order to do both shows. Isn't he working on Grey Man?

I found that $50,000 per episode for Rege Jean Page is a very very low pay value to come back and do a second season seeing he was a huge part of Bridgerton success i am pretty sure Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian get a whole lot more than $50,000 just to take pictures in Prada Bags lol

@ Malgorzata Chrobak, Phoebe just started filming The Colour Room. A few days ago, the Bridgerton cast had it's first round table reading. Yeah, sounds like Daphne, replaced by Kate as season 2 leading lady and with no Simon, has a large role in season 2 ( sarcasm).

I would love for them to do a movie about Simon and daphne and their children his 3 girls going on the dating dancing and Simon going crazy trying to keep his little girls at home and daphne trying to to tell Simon he can't keep them at home the middle girls want to go to College in America and not get married and younger girl would like to work with her brother on the estate only the first girl want to get marry and daphne is now pregnant with her 5 child and Simon wants to become a billionaire so he invested in the technology industry telephone and electrical services Edison etc Simon youngest girl becomes rich like her father Simon puts the first phone and electrical system lights blub in his castle
