Do you have a favorite Regency Era or Bridgerton pattern that you use? Or do you prefer using historical patterns? Let me know!

I'm using the Laughing Moon #126 Round or Trained Gown with high stomacher. It is really straightforward and simple to follow. I have used the Black Snail #219 Empire Dress with front closure. I found the directions a little confusing, but it was one of the earliest outfits I made three years ago. Love your recommendations. I have the first two patterns, I tend to collect them when they go on sale.

I am a beginner with Regency fashion and already have the first three patterns. I didn’t purchase the fourth one because it looked too costume-y and asked for zippers, but I’m glad you said it makes good petticoats. BTW, I looked for the chemisette pattern in the link you gave, but it is no longer available.

I just finished the McCall's 8132. The dress was a bit more than "easy". I put in a zipper, because my daughter wanted use a corset over it. Loved making the spencer. Found it easier than the dress😂

I am going to attend the Jane Austen Bath festival this year and need a historical accurate regency outfit. I don't seem to find anything that works already made so thinking on sewing my own. This is extremely daunting as although I have a sewing machine my knowledge is quite basic and have only sewn tote bags and skirts so far. Any recommendations of the easiest pattern to follow for a beginner or how to get started? Thanks!

Love your video! I have most of these patterns, but haven't attempted any yet because of the volume of fabric required. Just a regular person who loves these styles, too :) Your gowns are beautiful!! Very helpful, indeed!! Thank you!
