@seancollins9745 - Really? Why do you think that? Have you ever heard RFK Jr. talk about insulin resistance, metabolic health or the Carnivore diet? Because I haven't. He pontificates about making Kellogg's remove food dyes from Froot Loops when that crap isn't even real food in the first place & should be removed from stores altogether. But I guarantee you RFK Jr. won't call for removing cereals from the market.

1) Know your 3 R's - Regenerative Ruminant Revolution. 2) Ruminants make soil - Crops make dirt. 3) 7 days without beef makes one weak. 4) Carnivore is proper human behavior. Deer have legs - Plants have roots - Figure it out !

21:26 Interesting that her LDL-C dropped after introducing a low-carb diet. Not what you'd expect based on the conventional paradigm. However, given that she most likely has a high BMI (weight 198 lbs), this finding is in line with work by Soto-Mota, Norwitz, Feldman, etc., in their meta-analysis showing that LDL-C actually falls in patients with a high BMI after starting a low carb diet. Opposite happens in patients with a low BMI. All explained elegantly by the Lipid-Energy Model. Those guys are really onto something. Edit to say: great presentation, super interesting. Thanks for uploading.

Thank you, Dr. Ballerstedt for moderating this webinar. I have read dr. Bikmans book which has given me great insights. I am keen to know what the increased risk is for cardiovascular disease when homocysteine, ldl and hba1c are elevated, but triglycerides are low. Any ideas?

You're welcome. I am *not* a medical doctor, so I'll suggest you seek the opinion of a metabolic health medical professional. It seems to me, as a non-medical observer, that the elevated insulin should be the primary concern.

Disclosure: I have a financial interest in low-carb > if people get healthier my tax bill will fall. Disclosure: I eat red meat every day and it's cured me (so other people's tax bill will go down!)

Gret presentation, but why did I have to subscribe to you again?

I have no idea. I've heard other channel owners tell folks that KZbin sometimes unsubscribes folks. Perhaps they don't like some of the things said here... ? Thanks for resubscribing!
