Hi to You Both, I'm so happy to see you react to this particular song on my top list for so many years and I was so hoping that Gabriel would acced to to my wish ..... I knew that every note, every movement, every breath of this song, carried by such moving lyrics and such a captivating melody, was going to be sublimated in a masterful way by Gabriel. There are moments of grace when what we had waited and hoped for without really believing in it arrives in majesty...... I had asked so many times "Hurt" on a famous platform !! And there, now I am witnessing the realization of my wish repeated week after week.... And what was my joy and my surprise to see the other night the Brilliant Gabriel blend into this little musical Masterpiece. Even grander than I imagined !! By adding his multiple vocal flavors and all the Passion of which he is capable, and which he delivers magnificently, Gabriel has just made Christina Aguilera's Musical Jewel his own. Beyond my expectations, I was completely overwhelmed by this absolutely mind-blowing interpretation. I knew, deep in my heart and soul that this song had to be sung by him.... I've heard Christina sing this. She supposedly wrote it for her father. Gabriel put the exact amount of emotion into the song that was needed. Too beautiful! Jess I didn't add how sorry I am to hear about your mother and your pain. Mine passed away 17 years ago and while it still pains me I focus on the fun we shared. She survived a ruptured aneurysym, but was taken from me by a sub arachnoid hemmorage. She was so young when she passed, had many health problems but had so much faith in her Creator. We all have regrets Jess. I have sort of the same issue with my own mother. I always try to be and do the best in the present moment. we do not learn by doing right everytime.... Music is a powerfull energy and brings all the emotions to the surfice so we can face it. Hey Mike....when you hugged Jess and after she sad it made the sadness worse , and you said I am sorry, I quote a famous phrase from the " loving story " movie 1970 ....
