Big Stone nice interview with Hortense Ellis daughter,I remember her singing with her brother Alton and. A lot of people don't know, that Alton Ellis brother useto sing with him too. I can say that I realized that the foundation females singers in Jamaica, the government ministers them. Never gives them no form of respect or recognition at all, they are giving these younger generation females singers. More respect than the foundation females singers, Hortense Ellis,Enid,Nora Dean and her group. I remembered in 1968 with that song Nora Dean did,it was one of the biggest female song in Jamaica babwire. Even now, that song still played a lot,I guessed that song was first sang by Prince Buster and. Nora Dean did a be version of it, I useto played my stepfather sound system and. I useto played that song at lot in the dance, when it is getting late for lockdown time with your woman.I would like to see the minister of sports and culture, to give some of the foundation females singers them some form of recognition.Alton Ellis was the first singer in Jamaica to be crowned as king 👑 of rocksteady,he did his 1st song in 1954.Big Stone you need the minister of sports and culture to have someone, to do some research. About the history of the Jamaica music fraternity, because there is a lot of things is not known to the public. Especially the younger generation at all, from Mento, ska, rocksteady and reggae, and the different kinds of dancing.Like square dance, and quadrill,I useto into a dancing class in school, where I useto do those kinds of dancing. It is really good to know that Hortense Ellis daughter can give you a brief interview about her mother, her just moved. From the music fraternity for a very, very long time, until I heard that she has died.Jamaica need a music hall of Fame,to display some of those legendary singers. The 3 longest females singers in Jamaica still,is the I Three's. Marcia Griffiths, Judy Mowatt, and Retia Anderson-marley.Carlene Davis,Lorna Bennett breakfast in bed 🛏️, that was a very big hit in Jamaica.Anyway Big Stone, please keep up the good works,my brother old sweat,ok.
