Reggie Rover: The Rebuild Series - Part 1 = The Teardown

Hello viewers, friends, and family!
A lot has happened since we returned to the United States after being stuck in Honduras for almost 7 months due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We are now settled (however temporarily) in Colorado, near Tim's family. In between looking for new jobs, we are tearing Reggie down in anticipation of rebuilding him completely for our next overland adventure.
This week's video is Part 1 in the Reggie Rebuild series! This video is mostly about the teardown, along with a little side adventure in Reggie to the mountains, before he became un-driveable. If you have not seen our "Reggie - Birth of an Overland Vehicle" videos, and would like to see how Reggie was set up for our last overland adventure, check out our channel for those 2 videos.

Old Subwoofer into water tank....genius! So many knocking about on Ebay here in the UK. You've just solved 1 huge issue for my RRC.

Haha, yes, Tim loves to use what he has on hand to create new things :o). Our water tank worked great while we were traveling - we really enjoyed being able to fill the 5-gallon water tank from the outside, without having to open up the vehicle. Our second water tank ran just behind the front seats, all the way across. Glad you could use the tip, and thank you so much for watching our video!

P/O. Congratulations making it home ! Good luck starting from a blank canvas with your 5000 pound RRC LSE 400Tdi ? One supposes you two came across the team at 'Rangie Spares' Downunder who do Outback fitouts on Range Rovers, that might give some ideas on their web-site. I've had a decent go selecting upgraded parts from both Terrafirma or Britpart, so my '93 Rangie Project is ready to roll. V

Thanks for the tips! We did strip Reggie down to a blank canvas to make sure we fixed all the rust, and any other issues. We want him to be in amazing shape for our next adventure! Good luck with your 93 Range!! And thanks for watching our video!
