If you take a washing up bowl, you could keep all your unit surfaces sink free!.. i dont know if you have water/taps ect covered but when I was watching, i was thinking water bladders or a small tank maybe on the back doors, just in case you don't have access to water or you need to give the dog a wash down in the muddy wet weather! Awesome job guys 👍

Reggie truly is the star of the show ;) he’s adorable! The van looks very nice, can’t wait to see in finished! Not having a permanently installed cooktop and sink gives you more flexibility when using the counter for other things.

Great vid of your first trip. Plenty snap seal boxes for the fridge and cupboard. We have a handpump tap from a 10lt bottle. Our sink is a stainless food tray with washing machine waste pipe out to a bucket. Double burner from a small bottle that stores away, or can be used outside. Keep it simple, keep it safe - as Mel's Van Life would say. Thanks so much for taking the time to film and share. MACK and Maggie, Huddersfield

How do you and the Mrs. like van camping compared to tent camping. Great job on the van and a very handsome dog!
@phrayzar3 жыл бұрын
The van is looking great. One thing that I have learned is, whenever possible, cook outside of the van. The oil vapour holds smells and sticks to all the surfaces. In time the oil will discolour the wood and is not easily cleaned. I had to completely white spirit all my unpainted wooden surfaces and paint them with a wipeable acrylic paint. The amount of grease that came off was ridiculous after only one year of regular use.

You never forget the first time you take that trip in your converted van.. ah memories indeed.🤣We've been there with camping, caravans, camper van build (Ford Transit - Fiat Ducato hi top) Good to see you guys out and about, we ALL need to 👀😶 Stay safe guys. 👍 (The highest mountain in the UK is the iconic Ben Nevis, standing at an impressive 1,345m tall ) Climbing Scafell Pike (the highest mountain in ENGLAND) at 978 metres, is a serious undertaking and should not be underestimated. Whichever route you take, it's a tough, steep hike which involves scrambling over hard terrain. Planning and preparation are key whatever the season - there could be high winds, rain, snow, extreme cold or poor visibility.🤔
