Yo, Reggie, some years ago, i saw an interview with a sound enginier that worked at death row, where he told a story about some masters or DATs that where damaged by water, he said that they were transported on the trunck of a car, and it rained, so they got damaged, and that he had to cook the DATS to save some of the songs, if i recal he said one of the songs that were damaged was They Dont Give A Fuck About Us, can you confirm this ? i cant no longer find the video online...

I think your talking about Jarred who worked with Johnny J later on. He said when Suge went to Compass point in October 1996 he left the tapes outside and the humidity damaged some tapes.

Your right Jarred didn’t work for Death Row, it was what he heard when he went to compass point. He was told Suge arrived in a panic and left a load of reels and dats on the runway over night. The humidity in the Bahamas damaged a few of them. The only bad quality one I’ve heard with bleed on the DAT tape is a version of Lil Homies. The good thing Jarred said was that Johnny J had a few Pac tracks that haven’t leaked yet. I think these are Give Me Love and Ma Babies mama.
