What people forget is Warren G breathed life back into Def Jam Records…if Lyor hadn’t signed him, and Russell knowing how to repackage ‘Regulate’ Def Jam could’ve went into crazy debt and possibly been sold or absorbed by their major. That album was hit after hit, melodic and feel good. The album also introduced Dove Shack, The Twinz, who released full albums. Warren G’s second album was nothing for Def Jam to put out, because he was the reason they were still around…and that even wet Gold. Don’t let Reggie’s spitefulness get in the way of Facts and Truth.

You have to really comprehend tray deee’s vlad interview also. If you pay attention he says c style went in the room to get warrens chain, and he waited outside as back up for c style. This confirms warrens story about c style being in the room. The phone call his uncle ron made may have been during those 25 minutes whilst tray deee was waiting outside.

It amazing how hip hop from 25 plus years ago is more relevant than hip hop today. Obviously we're older Death Row fans, but in the 90s no one was talking about the 60s n 70s non stop like we get today with the 1990s

True. Hip hop and r&b, back in the '90s, was just more interesting than what's happening now. I don't even know who the true "superstars" are now. also, with no social media, there was no way for us to know these behind-the-scenes stories. Monthly magazines like The Source and Vibe were the only outlets back then that even covered these topics and artists.

The same LBC cats he talking about was Sherm heads all did time and had no smut on they name from the streets to the system Insane and 20’s. He being biased cause if the death row pirus was pushing that type of line then how and why did they give the chain back. Somebody said something to somebody to make them give that chain back. You basically saying the death row pirus was punking longbeach crips and they had to smoke sherm to face you guys. Come on man maaan. You got extras😂😂😂… warren wasn’t a frontline banger. But Big Floss, Cstyle, Tray D, Big Fave them no nonsense dudes. Not all them got wet but what I’m sayin is Daz Snoop are entertainers despite what they claim. If anything would’ve happen to one of them four, you do understand the implications of where that could’ve went. I take nothing from Reggie cause he was in the midst of that dumb shit that suge was doing, and he came out physically unscathed, mentally I’m sure he throwed off some where…. But he stay bashing snoop smh😂😂😂
