He did not fly the drone because he was actually in "No Fly Zone" .. In 2014 , the "No Fly Zone" surrounding Manchester Airport was increased from 1 mile to 5 miles. This covers ALL DRONES. Even the Police have to get authorisation before they can launch a drone.
