I was in the escort to the Guidon on Ballaclava day 25 Oct 1960 at Sek Kong, Hong Kong. I also took place in the presentation of the Guidon at Paderborn in 1959. Brilliant parades on both occasions. Or Glory

My dad was on "Last Stag" on Balaclava Day 1955 when the regimental guest of Honour was Monty .... he didn't know what the correct present to ams was to a Field Marshal so he buffed it it .... Monty "who famously didn't drink or smoked " just said " Morning Soldier carry on " .. 🇬🇧

Hi Their. Thought there mite of been some 16th 5th footage Bone head lol.Great video.Thought the 5 year Tour of west Germany would have been there too in 70s.1994 Reg formed if I can remember wright.

Oh it sounds a bit wrong if you don't know what mean.Bone head is a nickname for a Lancer. Wasn't calling you a bone head lol ;)

lol, spent my last few years with the 16th/5th at Bovi and Tidworth. Haven't got many pictures though, but there are loads on the internet. You ain'r related to Danny are you?

John Kerrison Hi Yes,Danny is my Dad.Yes we were in Tidworth and Bovy.I was born in Hanover when the Reg were in Germany.Do you remember my dad then?
