i donno about that whole sharpie thing, where did you hear that? when we asked her why it wasn't on the album after a show she said she didn't really remember it, she wasn't sure if she knew it anymore.

I'm semi new to Regina so if someone could help me. I didn't realize she had a song with the same title as her new album, but I do know that this song is not on the album. Any story behind this. Or is it just a cool thing to just appreciate :)

Sometimes even the best songs don't end on the album because they don't fit in. I'm guessing this particular one didn't match the ambience of the other songs, which were too energetic in comparison. Kylie Minogue has an excellent example from "The Abbey Road Sessions". She made an excellent self-cover of "Breathe" which fans loved, and which inspired the whole album. The album, however, was centered on orchestral covers which had an extreme dissonance to the production of the original songs, which "Breathe" didn't have; It was an acoustic version of the track, but it felt too similar to the original regardless. Thus, with completely different concept to the album, she couldn't put it in. She didn't even give it an official release. We don't understand why she does this, her fans are going to buy anything she puts out so what gives? Artistic vision I guess…
