INTERESTING. What is Look For Me?
@MonkeyDoodleCartel
@MonkeyDoodleCartel 10 жыл бұрын
Adam Hawk It is a four book series...basically historical fiction, a love story that spans 1,000 years. We are in the process of raising $100 million for the project. (No, I am not kidding. We've already located $14 million, but we still have a LONG ways to go.) You can read about the project and the back story at www.LookForMeIWillFindYou.com. Regina is so perfect for the lead, it is just mind blowing. If we can convince her to do it, nobody will overlook her then. You said the word, "Brilliant," and you are soooo right, my friend, soooo right.

Regina Spektor's lyrical skills are incredible - her phrasing and words are so powerfully spot on. The piano work on this song just hits you straight in the heart and takes your breath away. And who would think that just watching her irises close when exposed to the light could be so emotive? Her eye color is like the rain lashed clouds clearing after a storm. This is truly a masterpiece by a rare and fabulously talented musician.

My grandad passed away last week, and even though I know this song is about a romantic relationship, many lines of it resonate so much in this moment. I don't know if I'm ever going to get over this pain completely, but I know how loving can be as deep as suffering. I just never imagined that it could be possible to feel so much.

The love of my life past away march of 21'.... On the drive to her funeral I was uncombable... Barely able to see the road from the tears blocking my view... And this song came on. Came on a hip hop Iheart channel... Which made me pull over cry my heart out and look up to the sky as I shouted thank you...I've never heard of this artist or song before that.. I know it was her. I love you to the moon & back 2x's Lauren Ashley McNeil.. 4ever my Southern bell.

How can I forget your love How can I never see you again There is a time and place For one more sweet embrace And there is a time, ooh, when it all, ooh, went wrong I guess you know by now That we will meet again somehow How Oh baby How can I begin again How can I try to love someone new Someone who isn't you How can our love be true When I'm not, ooh, I'm not over you I guess you know by now That we will meet again somehow Time can come and take away the pain But I just want my memories to remain To hear your voice To see your face There's not one moment I'd erase You are a guest here now So baby How can I forget your love How can I never see you again How can I ever know why some stay, others go And I don't, ooh, don't want you to go I guess I know by now That we will meet again somehow Time can come and wash away the pain But I just want my mind to stay the same To hear your voice To see your face There's not one moment I'd erase You are a guest here now So baby How can I forget your love How can I never see you again

My favorite lyric: "How can I ever know why some stay and others go? When I don't want you, Oh I don't want you, to go?!" This expresses my current feelings very well, and I'm sure it speaks for plenty of people suffering clinical Depression or a significant personal loss. When someone we love more than life itself suddenly abandons us, we don't know if we can ever interact with people normally again, and we certainly don't want to go out on a limb and try. Why try when we can never know for sure whether someone is going to stay by our side or leave us in the lurch when we most need them? It hurts to much to lose that person and never see them again. So I'm in favor of not getting hurt again, even if that means having no friends forever. All friends eventually reject you anyway, so why not be proactive and quit tiring yourself trying to make new friends?
@bishop186
@bishop186 4 жыл бұрын
I hope you're in a better place now than you were when you wrote this. This song speaks to me now because I'm going through divorce but along with this song, I try to listen to "On the Radio": "This is how it works: You peer inside yourself You take the things you like Try and love the things you took Take that love you made Stick it into someone else's heart Pump in someone else's blood You walk arm in arm Hope it doesn't get harmed But even if it does you'll do it all over again" I think that this works both ways. You trade the things you like about yourself and what they like and you become a different person, hopefully a better one for having been with that person. If they leave, take that new mix you have and find what you like now and try again.

Cuando no te he olvidado.

Can we all not just fall in love with one another, just for a song. Her voice, the music, much like love-itself, defies logic.

Time can come and take away the pain... But I just want my memories to remain... ...to hear your voice... ...to see your face... ...there's not one moment...I'd erase So much sincerity in these lyrics.

When your first love breaks your heart, you can't forget her. You broke up with me months ago. You were my best friend, confidant, lover. You had your reasons. I didn't really believed that our more than two years of relationship was gonna end like that. I was miserable. It's been months since that day, and there wasn't a day that I didn't thought of you. While you on the other hand, has moved on and likes someone else. I just want to thank you for breaking up with me because it made me a better person. It made me realize my past mistakes and what I want most in this world right now is to share that better person with you. I don't know why I'm posting it here, why I'm doing it here, I don't even know when I'll get to move on, but what I am sure of is, I still love you, more than I have before. To you Alexandra, I adore you. Still.
