INTERESTING. What is Look For Me?
@MonkeyDoodleCartel10 жыл бұрын
Adam Hawk It is a four book series...basically historical fiction, a love story that spans 1,000 years. We are in the process of raising $100 million for the project. (No, I am not kidding. We've already located $14 million, but we still have a LONG ways to go.) You can read about the project and the back story at www.LookForMeIWillFindYou.com. Regina is so perfect for the lead, it is just mind blowing. If we can convince her to do it, nobody will overlook her then. You said the word, "Brilliant," and you are soooo right, my friend, soooo right.

Regina Spektor's lyrical skills are incredible - her phrasing and words are so powerfully spot on. The piano work on this song just hits you straight in the heart and takes your breath away. And who would think that just watching her irises close when exposed to the light could be so emotive? Her eye color is like the rain lashed clouds clearing after a storm. This is truly a masterpiece by a rare and fabulously talented musician.

My favorite lyric: "How can I ever know why some stay and others go? When I don't want you, Oh I don't want you, to go?!" This expresses my current feelings very well, and I'm sure it speaks for plenty of people suffering clinical Depression or a significant personal loss. When someone we love more than life itself suddenly abandons us, we don't know if we can ever interact with people normally again, and we certainly don't want to go out on a limb and try. Why try when we can never know for sure whether someone is going to stay by our side or leave us in the lurch when we most need them? It hurts to much to lose that person and never see them again. So I'm in favor of not getting hurt again, even if that means having no friends forever. All friends eventually reject you anyway, so why not be proactive and quit tiring yourself trying to make new friends?
@bishop1864 жыл бұрын
I hope you're in a better place now than you were when you wrote this. This song speaks to me now because I'm going through divorce but along with this song, I try to listen to "On the Radio": "This is how it works: You peer inside yourself You take the things you like Try and love the things you took Take that love you made Stick it into someone else's heart Pump in someone else's blood You walk arm in arm Hope it doesn't get harmed But even if it does you'll do it all over again" I think that this works both ways. You trade the things you like about yourself and what they like and you become a different person, hopefully a better one for having been with that person. If they leave, take that new mix you have and find what you like now and try again.

Cuando no te he olvidado.

When your first love breaks your heart, you can't forget her. You broke up with me months ago. You were my best friend, confidant, lover. You had your reasons. I didn't really believed that our more than two years of relationship was gonna end like that. I was miserable. It's been months since that day, and there wasn't a day that I didn't thought of you. While you on the other hand, has moved on and likes someone else. I just want to thank you for breaking up with me because it made me a better person. It made me realize my past mistakes and what I want most in this world right now is to share that better person with you. I don't know why I'm posting it here, why I'm doing it here, I don't even know when I'll get to move on, but what I am sure of is, I still love you, more than I have before. To you Alexandra, I adore you. Still.

Art is something you feel. When art becomes love, we shall sit in the power of love and enjoy its fruits.

Some women can just plain sing... no electronic aid... no tricks. This is one who can do that. Damn, she's great.

regina is truly an amazing musician. each of her songs tell a different story and even if we don't quite get their meaning they still nevertheless manage to find a way into our hearts, for me she is the epitomy of modern greatness

I don’t know if you read these comments. But my mom just passed this morning and this song has helped me figure out my feelings about it even though it’s a romantic song. Thank you, Regina.

my favourite song by this amazing artist....so hauntingly beautiful,you can "feel" it...as with most of her work....even more so in live performance....where the whole audience emotionally connects with her....astonishing and very rare
