Regina: "You're Lucky I've Changed" (Once Upon A Time - S2E10)

Regina's scene where she is still outcast-ed despite her effort to change for the better. She later found out about the possible breach of confidentiality regarding her therapy sessions with Archie and confronts him for it. OUAT S2E10: The Cricket Game.
Do you think Regina would be able to have a better 'turn-over' experience if the other characters were more receptive to her like Emma? But then again they do have every right to cast such judgement to Regina after all she's had done to them. She's the main reason they're in Storybrooke in the first place. What do ya guys think?

I love how Regina @3:20 doesn't even bother looking at Red, just sends her on her way with one of the best lines ever "Private Conversation. Go take yourself for a walk". Regina (Lana) is a hoot to watch and the only reason I do watch. This show would have killed if it had been more comedic than drama but what the hey, it's all good.

Because in real life , closed adoption means that the child or the foster parent can't meet or see the biological parents . When henry turns 18 he would have legal rights to the birth documents

They might have been cursed to live in this world, but Storybrooke is still partially a part of a magic realm, so they live by the laws of that place. By those laws, Emma is Henry’s true mother, not Regina. She can call the authorities if she wants to, but she won’t because of all the obviously complicated reasons.

I think they should be glad she didn't kill them all. They need Regina to be evil, as curses go its a lame one, they got 30 extra years of life, they were healthy and well cared for. She took their memory, its like they were in stasis. What I can't get over is Rumples gets a pass when he set EVERYTHING up in the first place.

@@mycrowsoffed He set it all in motion.. he corrupted Cora in order that she would marry him (but that didn't work, Cora "outdealed" him) and have a daughter who would become the queen and lose everything in order to be so broken and cursed that she ends up killing her own father in order to enact a curse while being the stepmother to the girl who who would marry a prince and create not only the savior to break the curse but to ensure that there would be magic brought into the new realm; all because he was TOO cowardly to follow his only son into the land he'll spend decades trying to get to and in the process kill a prince (and steal his estate) to enslave the girl, kill a girl's godmother to get one of the most powerful wands, kill a man's wife to make a point. all because he doesn't want to give up magic. And that's just the BASICS. I won't go into all the little machinations he did to ensure Regin's Road to Ruin.

In Graham and David's case, they were also forced into non-consensual relationships. Regina has been forcing Graham way back in the Enchanted Forest and brought David's cursed fake wife into the picture.

As funny as the line was about Archie getting his Ph.D. from a curse, I'm pretty sure that all of the adults in the town got their driver's licenses the same way. Bear in mind that they only drove carriages in the Enchanted Forest. Where else would they have learned to do that? It therefore seems to me that the curse is capable of conferring some useful knowledge on these folks after all. Why not a doctorate in mental health?

Regina most of the time gets the short end of the stick in the enchanted forest and storybrooke. Henry thinks she has been nothing but a horrible mother, but what she has been is a classic example of a mother protecting her child, maybe a little overprotective. The charmings are so cheesy that even I don't really like them but regina despises them,especially because of the individual parts they played in ruining her life. Arguably she did some pretty nasty things to them too but to call what she has done to them evil, pot calling the kettle black!

Lemonade lemon to be fair those people never Regina a chance to be good before she was queen. She was alienated and isolated and hated because of her mother, so to me I am pretty sure those people never gave her a chance.

Even when she was married to the King she was alone all the time because she was just an object to him. Regina had many chances to change then but she didn’t take them. Which is how we ended in the Cursed lands in the first place.

She was a mass murderer who adopted Henry after her attempt to kidnap someone else’s child didn’t work. She spent his whole life gaslighting him and at this point was still attempting to get what she wanted through manipulation and threats. Who in their right mind would trust her at that point?

I know Emma has goodish reason to be skeptical of Regina, but really Emma what do you think she’s gonna do? She’s chose to be a good parent (or at least the best one she’s currently capable of being) because she had an abusive mother and chose not to be that. Regina may be many things dear, but a threat to Henry is not one of them.

She literally gaslit him his entire life and tried to destroy his family and finally poisoned him because she didn't know how to love him in a healthy way. Regina initially wasn't worthy of being his mother

Good point. We also have to consider what permissions Regina may or may not have given Archie and what the community in general knew. Plenty of people were aware of her choice to change and stop using magic. At least Henry and Dr. Whale knew that she was seeing Archie for treatment. Additionally, Regina has made it clear over and over to anyone who will listen that she's doing all this for Henry. I get the feeling that Regina is tremendously upset, but just taking it out on Archie.

@@creativewriter3887Regina didn’t make the town. The curse did. The curse is responsible for giving everyone their lives and jobs and everything else. It’s obvious that the caster is going to get a lavish lifestyle. Also, the Black Fairy said that she invented the town, aka invented the curse.

Will Regina ever learn to stop being a bully? And yeah the Charmings having to send Emma away was her fault. Regina would have killed Emma to prevent the curse from being broken. When Rumplestiltskin tells her that Emma will break the curse she says, "Getting rid of a baby just made my to do list." They sent Emma away for her own safety even though it devastated both of them.

A bully? The Charmings sent Emma away instead of fighting like Regina would have done.....it was easier to send a baby off and not use common sense to worry what would happen to that child. Snow and Charming only care for one thing themselves. And I guess stealing a baby and infusing it with the darkness so they can have a perfect child is ok. The Charmings all of them are trash.
