When I met my hubby I had no idea he was 20 years my senior. After 2 years of dating he told me his age. We never had an argument regarding my immaturity. I grew up different. My mom was a single mom. So I had to handle everything regarding the administration at a very young age. I had to handle tax issues, write letters, negotiate, deal with a land problem we had, work and study. Since young I was very assertive and responsible. I came to Europe to study when I was 20. I never though he is too old for me. We always have fun. We travel a lot. We have great conversations. Of course we disagree with each other sometimes. If you see my hubby you will not think he's 50. That dark chocolate man looks too bomb for his age. He goes to the gym and eats super healthy. I never ever felt he's too old for me or he's too old to understand me.

I'm 19. My brother is 27. And I criiiinge at the thought of being with one of his friends or something. I'm 19 and everyone I know my age is still trying to figure out who they are and what they want to be. At 27 my brother just had his 1 yr anniversary; went into the military 8 years ago, just got out; now settling down. I just think most 19 and 27 y.o are in 2 different stages in life.
