Pokemon Showdown Competitive Singles exists. SS OU otherwise known as Gen 8 OU was rated as my worst format, yet can I truly judge it by such harsh standards? Only by gaming can we illuminate the truth.

A few things Jim that will help you. 1.) Grassy Glide is not cancelled out by switching Terrains. It’s a regular 70 base power Grass attack that has a secondary effect of being Priority in Grassy Terrain. So if you switch Terrains, for example, Tapu Lele switching in to set up Psy Terrain, it reverts back to just a regular attack and will still hit. 2.) 90 percent of Bisharps are Choice Band leads with with Beat Up because it’s so strong in this Gen and Bisharp really can’t do much else in the tier. It doesn’t have the breaking power without band anymore, has competition with SD Weavile, and without Pursuit, not as good utility anymore either. 3.) Dragonite is usually Boots with DD, Roost, EQ, Ice Punch because it literally beats everything in the tier with just Ice Ground coverage. Some variants are Duel Wingbeat instead of Ice Punch but that’s rare. Some Choice Band Dragonite are around too but also rare. 4.) Please stop trying to hard switch Regieleki into moves lol. The guy is paper thin and is meant to be pivoted in thru U-turn, Flip Turn, or Teleport. Hope this helps.

It's interesting seeing Jim experience a tier he's unfamiliar with. Gen 8 is probably the one I know best, so it's weird having a better understanding than Jim when usually I'm relying on him to explain what's going in in Gen 3

Several times our heroes came close to learning that switching Lele into Rillaboom does _not_ block Grassy Glide, but they expertly dodged the lesson each time. Gaming without even realizing it.

In gen 10 it wont have tera blast but his electric attacks will be less powerful than in gen 8 due to transistor nerf
