I was one of the estimated 320,000 people who were there live. It was epic. Unfortunately there were two power outages at the beginning. There was no sign of this on television. But for everyone who was there live, it noticeably dampened the mood. This performance was also the largest concert that has ever taken place on German soil to date. And even today, after 34 years, I still look back on this experience with goosebumps.

It's amazing her talent, and you sure nailed it - she was a perfect choice. A few years after this the people that make those Very Special Christmas compilation albums needed someone to do the duet with Frank SInatra Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, because Paula Abdul couldn't get the right key - Cyndi came in and got it on the first take. She can do any genre. For Dance, listen to Into The Nightlife or Rain On Me, for blues listen to I'm Just Your Fool, for Soul listen to Try A Little Tenderness, for rock listen to I Drove All NIght or Money Changes Everything, for country Heartaches By The Number, for alternative Yeah Yeah, and of course the world knows her pop hits. I just can't believe how talented she is!

I was there...one of the coolest concerts I've ever seen. great memories. we got there the night before and camped out and they did an entire dress rehearsal that night...show the entire show with only a few thousand fans. 300K fans attended the show.

What a show that was....being there was a privilege....the real wall went down several months ago...the wall that divided families, friends and strangers for decades... Scorpions had their greatest hit out....Cyndy just wanted to have some fun with the girls....and eleven years passed since the first brick in the wall......this wasn't the dark side of the Moon....this was a gathering that brought joy to the thousands of people that didn't experience the real freedom for a very long time

This Pink Floyd concert was shown on Soviet television, after the "Time" program, my father told me how happy he was when he saw this concert, he even recorded it on his cassette recorder! Upd: All Soviet people, from the smallest children to the old generation, watched that concert, because earlier in the USSR, everything Western was forbidden, including music, and then a concert of a Western group, also on television, which is controlled government

I won a date with her in 1981 sponsored by WHFS in Bethesda, MD. While she was in concert somewhere with her band, Blue Angel, it was announced that there would be a contest inside the WHFS listening area and whoever submitted the most embarrassingly laudatory letter complementing Cyndi on how great she was would WIN A DATE WITH CYNDI. I won and several months later the date was scheduled. She had a small posse of hangers-on in the limo with us. Cyndi was a real mensch: smart, funny and very lively. After dinner we went to a nightclub and she and a girl mate of hers cleared the dance floor. They were electric. Anyways that's my story, oh and she gave me a nice warm kiss on my cheek as I was opening the limo door.
