"No this is how it works. You peer inside yourself. You take the things you like, and try to love the things you took. And then you take that love you made and stick it into someone else's heart - pumping someone else's blood." That follow-up is important. While what precedes it is absolutely honest and and beautiful - the second part changes it. She says "No, this is how it works" If you're able to do more than survive, if you're able to somehow find beauty and passion on top that, you share it with other people. Which makes sense, given the music video and that her mom is a music teacher. When times are hard, laugh until you cry, cry until you laugh, and just keep breathing, it's all you have to do. But when times aren't hard - take the love you've found and share it with others.

It will come when you least expect it tho good to nudge yourself into an activity of passion if you can :) Glad you remember how you love pure and genuine . If you love music maybe a dance class will let you unfold that love again . I found Argentine Tango classes at a local rec center when I felt similar to you in the most depressed lost and hopeless time at 38 now 43 . I always secretly wanted to dance with this old music and to my surprise it wanted to dance with me too . Now I can take classes and dance at milongas no matter if I'm sad or celebrating . Tango is always there for me even when I'm timid of my skills . The journey has introduced me to what I call my "tango family" of all ages from youth to 80 year old friends . Doing something cool for yourself will help you find that love again BBN . I know it will :)))

"A million ancient bees Began to sting our knees While we were on our knees Praying that disease Would leave the ones we love And never come again" So Regina's lyrics are doubly prescient - talking of the future as well as the past of all our inner lives. The magic is that her musicality and voice (oh her voice!) are the perfect vehicles for the words. So here we are, living at an awful time but one with many wonders in it. So lucky she is one of them.

There are probably some in there that have loved and known music was their thing since they were even younger and this must have been so special for them to take part in. The things that stick with me are memories of people validating my love of art growing up, so no doubt for those kids this was and still is special to them.
