Siya na nga ang ginawang panakip-butas, hiniwalayan at iniwanan pero ni walang bahid ng bitterness at resentment towards Gelli or Ariel. ⁠Point of view of a 19-year-old back in 1994 (that's me): ​​⁠​⁠Ariel and Gelli were a couple. They were already living together. The public didn't know that. Back in the early '90s it was kind of taboo OR at least, showbiz folks didn't report that kind of stuff that much. Ariel and Regine worked together and started falling in love. Ariel broke up with Gelli. That's when media folks reported that Ariel and Gelli were already living together. They were mad at Ariel and Regine (mostly Regine because most people are always unfair to women, in general). It was reported that Gelli won't even give Ariel his passport. This was a big scandal back then. Ariel and Regine weren't showbiz royalties. Gelli, on the other hand, was well-known because of Janice being in showbiz for the longest time. Basically, Ariel and Regine's careers were in serious trouble. I personally think Ariel used his head and that's why he reconciled with Gelli. Ariel must have been scared that showbiz folks and his fans would stop supporting him. Back in 1994, Ariel was a bigger star than Regine. Gelli was a bigger star (movie star) than Regine. Ariel broke up with Regine. Ariel and Gelli became a couple once again. Regine became a superstar in 1999 after the release of her Y2K album (November 1999). Ariel and Gelli didn't really reach her level of success and fame. But everything worked out in the end. They're all happily married.

Shortly after their breakup, Regine became an international star in parts of Asia after the release of her Listen Without Prejudice album. 1994 to 96 was the height of her Asian career. Plus her first starring film Wanted Perfect Mother was shown in 1994 was a huge blockbuster hit, followed by Do Re Mi etc. She was a superstar at the age of 24. R2K all but turned her into an icon.

watching here...today is DEc 12th, 2020....o ayan ha para samg nagtatanong sa mga comments... So ganun pala ang totoong nangyari sa kanila ni Ariel Rivera. At tama pala ako sa sapantaha ko na doon sa lips to lips sa concert nila ni Ariel na-develop sa kanya ang mokong. Nakakatuwa si Donna, pagdating sa birit part ng kanta ay kay Regine na lang daw kasi mataas na at hindi na niya kaya. Tama naman si REgine, Richard Gomez was the most handsome actor that time. Sobrang maka-laglag panty talaga. Anyway, all in all, nag-enjoy ako sa interview na ito ni Dina kay Regine. Very spontaneous. Very natural, the two of them. Regine's beauty here is surfacing here.
