I almost quit HS and then you brought me back with Duels content for over a year. I had many great runs and memories before it got to be too much without balance changes or content. Thanks for the countless runs, Regis! For a long time i sleep to your runs, by no means i am saying they where boring, but it was just too relaxing. Duels was my go to mode. I am not sure I will continue to purchase any more sets and packs. My play time has gone down steadily for the last while. If Blizzard doesn't do something to turn this around (which I hope they do), I will most likely move on. I will miss your duels runs. It gave me great ideas for decks. Love all your content though.

They had the resources they just had no way to directly monetize the mode so they killed it because they knew people would want maintenance updates on it. If you're going to shut down duels for being a "failure" then remove mercenaries and twist.

Im positive that Blizzard will at some point run out of ways to make the game feel fresh and they will make Duels return (hopefully) w bunch of balance changed reworks and (because its blizzard) a clever way to monetize the mode while still making it accessible to f2p players. I know wishful thinking but I truly belive we will see Duels again in less than 5-7 years
