U.S. FDA Regulations for Dietary Supplements

Thank you for this video! In regards to buying a UPC code from GS1. Are dietary supplements required to have the FDA’s assigned NDC (National Drug Code) or NHRIC (National Health Related Items Code) labeler code? This is a question prompt on the GS1 website that comes up when getting the GS1 company prefix.

Does a dietary supplement label have to be listed out traditionally or can it be listed in paragraph form in a box as long as it still shows all ingredients and quantity?

Does the FDA police fast food? Why are we allowed to eat something that is not food? What about MONSANTO, who is regulated them. Dietary supplements saved my life. Medication is killing us but I guess that is the point.
