Yes it can. However, the point tracker works very well too for small blemish removal.

@@Hdhead I am trying to use the clone brush to paint out some dirt in a product video for a watch then use the planar tracker to take its location, rotation, and scale to adjust the clone throughout the clip. When I set up my tracker as you do in your video, I can no longer see the watch in the pain viewer. do you have any suggestions for trying to paint out dirt on a push in shot where the clone must change in scale?

Maybe you need to drag and drop another node into the viewer. If you drag the final node in the flow into the viewer you will see what the final comp looks like.

Solved! I removed the link from the Paint and the Tracker and tryed different Inputs. It is showed on the viewer when I changed to the same input what was in first time.

I did everything you said in the video, but i have a problem. in the first frame everything is all right, but in the second frame the paint disappearing for the rest of the video. any idea why is that happening and how can i fix it? thanks

Your paint strokes are only a frame long. There are three paint tools to chose from. Watch again to see which tool I'm selecting.

Every time I try this, it doesn't track to the end of the clip. It stops after four or so frames of rendering. I've changed the yellow barrier things and it never does anything. Somebody please help!

Sounds like the strokes are shorter in duration than the backplate. Look at the timeline representation of the Fusion comp inside Fusion. make sure the paint and the strokes are as long as the clip that's upstream from the paint.
