This was the Ok New Year's Meeting I feel certain. Happens every year. People from all over the country come for gospel preaching, the beautiful singing, and the fellowship. On New Year's Eve, during the last hour, we sing from memory. Bro Johnny Elmore, who has since passed to his reward, is leading the singing.

Danville Road has a wonderful singing. I am a member of a blood bought church in Florence, AL. This congregation, a wonderful group of Christians. Hope some have attended the Dianna Singing outside Pulaski, TN in an outside open structure. People come from all over the US. They have a ham shed incase your hungry. It is located in a once pasture. Wonderful voices attend. The singing lasts until near midnight. Google if interested.

I grew up in the Church of Christ. I became a member when I was 14. Great parents brought us up in The Lords Church. I remember the singing was so strong and beautiful, and it felt so good to praise our God together and to encourage each other through singing. I love all of you brothers and sisters in Christ! If I don't see you here, I will see you in Heaven and join you in the beautiful heavenly singing, praising our God forevermore!!!

Nope; 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Beautiful singing!! I have some health issues,so when I'm unable to go to Church services,I sing with you all,here on KZbin. I noticed there are some folks ,in the Church,who are very moved by the beautiful words of the songs. I see they are wiping tears away...men and women. I was raised in the Church and I am still very dedicated and love Christ's Church more everyday,and I STILL tear up at times because I feel the Spirit move in me!! It is truly a wonderful feeling!!" Just as I am" is one song that touches my heart every time..that song was being sung when I went forward to dedicate my life to Christ and put Him on in baptism!!!!! That was 39 years ago and counting and my life has been wonderful ever since. Perfect life...no,but knowing that God and my Church family are always there for me and my husband and children.....PRICELESS!!! God bless.

To whoever posted this Thank You. My dad was in the hospital with covid Dec 2020 and I sent this to the nurse to have them play this for him - they would not allow family in to see him. Then a few hours before his death - they did let my sister in and she played this for him on the cell phone. I think it brought him a lot of peace. He was a 40 year member of West End Church of Christ in Danville Kentucky.

My family built a church of Christ in Texas. I was raised going to that church for 17 years. Sadly, we had to close it down due to low attendance. now attending Weber Road church of Christ. Surely the church is in our hearts, not a building. Because I felt just as at home there as I did with my previous church.

@@leaandromulller3611 You need Jesus; visit a church of Christ and they will tell you how to become a Christian. Read Acts 8:35-39 and that will tell you what needs to be done to be saved. Jesus says "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; Mark 16:16. Also read Romans 6:3-4 and it will tell you how in baptism in water you contact Jesus death (where His blood was shed). We are saved by His blood when we obey Him by doing as He says. First we must hear his word, believe His word, repent, confess that Jesus is the Son of God and the last command is to be baptized where we put on Christ in baptism and remember it is Christ that does the work in baptism; Colossians 2:12. We cannot merit or earn salvation; Jesus does it all. Remember TODAY is the day of salvation; let me know if you visit a church of Christ.

Have you visited a Church of Christ yet and if you are to weak to go to one why don't you call a local church of Christ and have an elder or preacher come visit you and tell them you would like to study with someone on how to become a Christian.
