I legit hoped the blood on the player model stated, and when the cutscene of his hand appeared, the blood would soak away. But instead, it despawned. Either way, it is a "win-win" tbh.

I think it would make perfect sense, if Task Force 63 HQ and Omega Site missions chronologically happend before the very Horizon HQ assult. At this point, after everything he has been through, after everything he saw, 106's faith begins wavering, as he starts questioning his actions and Syndicate motives. Like Anton asks him later - have you ever noticed how the Syndicate is always the aggressar, always the invader?
