The thing is upgrades can fix most of the issues with this car (Upgraded short throw shifter, clutch spring, new steering wheel, better tires rims, exhaust etc) besides that it's perfect. RWD, LSD, Manual what else could a man want. Maybe get a supercharger too later if you want more power. The GR86 is a beast and possibly Toyota's best GR vehicle imo. I'm not big on the BMW Supra or the tiny hot hatches like Gr Yaris and Gr corolla so this is the way to go

@@Ryukomytoy Smokes it easily? It barely manages to be a second faster on the track with almost 100 extra horsepower. Its weird for people to complain about the exhaust when MOST people that gets a sports car the first mod they'd ever do is the exhaust. The silicone issue I believe is a bit over the top when you can simply just drop the pan and remove some of the silicone from the oil pick up and reapply the RTV with less amount. (WHICH dropping the pan WILL NOT void warranty according to Toyota)

For me, no electric car can match the sound of a gas engine powered car going through the gears. Subaru/Toyota, listen, keep it RWD, no turbo option, give more exterior and interior color choices, fix the dogshit sound system. Also make the flat screen display, more customizable. Scion was a dog, too slow. I own a 2022 GR 86, I like mine, nice handling, pretty good on the looks stock. Lowering the car improves look, as well as handling. Adding spacers can become a safety issue, they are known to break. The Alcantara will wear quickly, on the door will get wet opening doors on the rainy days leaving it open for staining. I prefer the 17 wheels, as well as the less aggressive duck bill. Toyota needs to step up the HP still. This car should be at least 275 hp, and it will thrill, compete with Porsche Cayman, Nissan Z, Mustang ecoboost. I get alot of looks and comments on mine, in the steel silver. Toyota needs to dump the Supra, it's ugly, and too expensive fior what you get, leaving sales down. Stay with GR 86 and make it the best possible on way of looks, handling, and quickness 0 to 60, with a price point that is within reason. Toyota needs to come up with a few different interior colors as well. The quality of materials in the cabin need some improvement as well. The seat belt reminder chime is so annoying, tone it down please. I also think all sports cars, muscle cars, and super cars should have a analog guage,, looks better. The exterior on the GR 86 looks really good except from the front, which falls flat. Needs to be a bit wider, needs some fog lights as well. Al in all it is a car that will please, and excite every time you get in a drive it. Enjoy
