My husband and I bought 3 acres in GA to retire to. I moved ahead of him to prepare things in the home, while he sold house in Florida. He died before he could move here. I was 72. I am still living here and making this a homestead. 9 hens and a rooster this year. I am trying to start a garden...maybe I will do better next year. I am 75 now, still learning. I am sure this is what I was meant to do. No one said life would be easy. But it is good. Thank God.

Welcome to Georgia! We came to north Georgia in 2020. We have 15 acres with tractors, 21 hens and Henry the rooster, rabbits that I breed twice in the early spring. Next year we will add a few steers to raise for beef. Very happy here! So sorry your hubby did not get to enjoy it with you.

Started this same move to make a homestead in Missouri in 2021 at age 65 without a spouse. It's doable, but hard. One step at a time. I was called here by the Lord. It has made me question my decision but when I was just about to go in a different direction, God gave me what I needed to continue on. Listen to our Father and never go wrong. Constance, I prayed the same way on asking to stop sale. I am in process of building a house. 75% completed at this point.

Always had NWA on my heart. Went to mo after leaving my hometown of 59 years. Ended up homeless 2 years and ended up here. Alone, 100% off grid, on ss. Hardest time of my life. Have tried to help others that would help me. Where are all the decent people?

Amen Constance! My husband, and I are retired AF, move to OK for his current job. Rented homes because we never stayed long in one place because of hubby's work. Realized we were staying for a long time in OK and started to look for a house with property to buy. Every thing we looked at would end up not for us. The house needed major work, or the property had major issues....like in a flood zone. Our search went on for a long while. One night, both my husband, and I prayed for a home with 5 to 20 acres requiring some work (not alot of work). The next morning, I brought up the computer and found the place were presently living in. It's a quaint 1500SQFT farmhouse, several out buildings, 20 acres (approximately 4 acres are worked, and 15 acres are natural woods). The property is totally fenced in with 2 ponds, and a lagoon, electric, and septic. The place needed some work. We made an offer, the owner countered, we accepted, and the property became ours. Over the last several years we've made changes, and repairs. Every day we thank the good Lord for finding this place for us. We continue to work on the property, house, and honor the good Lords requests. This place has our hearts! God Bless

I am so there with you, little sister. We stepped out in faith and moved from our previous home of nearly 40 years and moved to the middle of our state and now live in a small community with our daughter, and four of our ten grandkids. I started growing a garden, which is in no way a huge success, but having a brown thumb that normally kills any plant, I have grown 7 types of tomatoes, four buckets of collard greens, three type of peppers, and more herbs than I can use. Our harvest wasn’t huge, but in going to our little local farmers’ market, I’ve learned how to can beans, tomatoes, carrots, zucchini and meats. We closed on our home here in 2006. At first, it was a bit overwhelming, but we adjusted since we came to a small town from a small town. It’s not. Large homestead, just over 1/2 acre, but it’s enough for us. I love your place and wish you nothing but the best, building lots of sweet, new memories. I love viewing your videos. You are so calm, and explain things so clear ly, it is very appreciated. As you said in this video, when The Lord calls you to something different, just breathe and go! His timing is perfect and we do not own the clock! Blessings to you and your beautiful family.

I happened upon your channel about a week or so ago. You have such a calming spirit, and I cannot tell you how much I need that almost on a daily basis (I’m a paralegal. Lol.) In January of this year, I did my very first fast. During that time, God gave me an assignment, and luckily that assignment involves my extended family and being back in Texas…my husband had already agreed that we could move back, just didn’t know when. At the end of March, I asked God to show me the time frame for the move. He showed me within the next 4 months. When I told my husband, he was very skeptical. And he still is for the most part. Well, yesterday was that 4 month mark, and we’re still in Arizona. However, July is not over yet. I’m still trying to hold on to my faith, and trust in Him. Even though the enemy has been, and still is, whispering doubt and lies in my ear. I know there are only 6 more days in this month, but when I really think about it, my human mind is not able to comprehend the amazing things God can do when His plan is in motion. My mind cannot fathom the size of the mountains He can move when His timing is perfect. Will the next 6 days bring about a miracle? I’m hoping so. I’m praying that it will. I’ve been longing to be back home in Texas for years. It’s so hard to push my own thoughts and doubts to the side, let alone those of the enemy, but I’m desperately trying to hold on to that faith and trust. My husband and I are both fasting and praying right now and asking for God’s guidance. I can tell you this, you uploaded this video at just the right time for me. God knew that I would need to hear this. Thank you, Constance. You reminded me today that trust in and obedience to the Father are paramount. Nothing else matters.

If you could have been here this past Saturday, you would have heard my testimony about our journey to get HERE. It is EXACTLY what you just spoke. I am sitting here watching your video, amid boxes, tools, dog hair and dust, with tears streaming through the dirt and sweat on my face, SMILING because we know. We just know. God placed us exactly where He wanted us. I almost started to worry a few times, and each time I immediately prayed, thanking Him and asking Him to forgive my doubt. HE ANSWERED EVERY CONCERN more sufficiently than I could have imagined. Thanks for speaking it. God bless you and yours!

This video immediately caught my attention as my husband is really wanting to relocate to Arkansas. We have spent the last few years building a homestead here in the high and dry state of New Mexico. I am very concerned about making another move in our 60s. But my husband feels strongly that Arkansas is where we need to be. It is inspiring to see you following your calling, creating a brand new homestead there on that beautiful property.

So very much like our move 20 years ago!! Long story short, Chobani moved in next to us in 2005 and literally pushed us out! They bought our dairy farm in 2010 and we built a brand new facility about 1/2 mile away in such a better, beautiful spot! We would have missed God's blessing had we not moved here in 2003 and endured what we did. The first few years were so tough! He has given us abundantly beyond what we could have imagined!!

Welcome to Arkansas. I moved back here (was born in Hot Springs 63 years ago) last year. Yes, it's humid. Yes, we have chiggers, copperheads and water moccasins. But there are good things to be found as well. Glad things are working out as they should. I split firewood for an hour or two in the morning before it gets really hot, and that's letting me catch up on things.

We drove 12 hours down here, looked at a few places, and when I saw this farm...I knew it was the one. We put in an offer on the ride back home to Pennsylvania, and within 30 days we started to prepare to move to Tennessee! The farm is old, run down, and needs lots of TLC. It's been 8 years now. It hasn't been easy, but gosh, I THANK GOD every day for blessing me with this farm!!!

You both are walking by faith. People don’t understand that. I shocked many friends and family when I let a good paying joy with whatever fir in my colbalt and took my cats heading to San Antonio. I knew the lord wanted me here. I’ve been helping my daughter and her family. My granddaughter has learned about the lord and when I found a letter she wrote giving her her and life to him. I rejoiced and cried. Within the first two months he showed me just how great he is….. he took all my debit away! It was such a testament to others, especially my daughter and son and n law. Believe me it gets 103-116 hear and then have people ask if I regret moving. Never! The lord has blessed me is many more ways that’s not been mentioned. Plus my son moved his family here and I now have 2 grandchildren to love on and be an example. So thank you so much for sharing that.

I love that God alone brought you to make this specific video with this specific message. My scripture reading today along with my devotional reading was centered on what it is to really trust the Lord. Your video just reaffirmed that message. I'm so glad that you are happy with your new home. I believe that is the reward the Lord wants us listeners ( and viewers) to see and understand. There's not just consequences for pulling things back into our own control but there are rewards for listening and following the Lord according to His will. Living for the Lord and living in faith is such an urgent message to get out to the world right now. You nailed it! Thank you for being a willing vessel. May you and your family be richly blessed.

We can have fun/practice our aim on aweful critters!🤣 I look forward to watching all your videos, such a blessing to find your content!

My wet weather spring fed stream in AR has dried up and it is concerning because the groundwater, which usually is close to the surface - sometimes five or fewer inches below the surface - is way way way down. When it goes down my well goes down, and currently I only have a pitcher hand pump which only draws at 20 feet or less. This past year the weather has been abnormal, extremely abnormal, and it's gonna hurt everyone who isn't wealthy.

from the time I bought my house, I was almost 53, like 12 days. Had I moved every year from birth to here I had moved 53 times. So imagine living out of a suitcase your whole life. After moving here, I have wonderful neighbors, I had never lived anywhere long enough to have or know neighbors. it's peaceful and quiet, there is alot of wildlife, beautiful skies

Stumbled across your channel today and have been watching most of the evening on this rainy day. I am also a Christian trying to live in obedience to the Word of God! You are certainly an inspiration to me with all your testimonies of Gods goodness! I look forward to listening to more of them. Thanks for sharing them with the body of Christ and thanks for your service to our country!

Oh honey, I knew this one would be good when i read the title!! You and Mr. Smith have been in my prayers since i came upon you in one of your video's out in your ole Alabama greenhouse. I never will forget that video, or that burden I seen you were carrying. Sis, this right here is the kinda of faith that moves mountains. So, you stay just as solid as them rocks hindering your fence buildin! Yah is good all the time, and He don't forget faithfulness! Much love! ❤

Constance's message is Godly & true, a message of life, opening one's heart & mind to our heavenly Father. I feel like I know her though never meeting her & probably never will but so enjoy hearing & seeing her. Her blantingly honest message, hiding nothing, is not something I've ever seen in a "church " .Much better that most services. God is everywhere, if we don't lose sight of Him & be aware. Angels unaware! Seek Him. I , myself & others from comments, receive a blessing from this lady. Technology can be used for good & evil. If not for this, we could never experience Constance, so what a blessing we receive! Let's count our many blessings leat we forget how bountiful we have been blessed!!! Thankyou Constance

We looked at property in AR... much too rocky, tick/brown recluse infested, little flat land. The abundance of springs are actually outflows or drainage from other points of water seepage (had some tested). Those springs were polluted. The plus side is that you’ll have plenty of wood in the winter. We were led to a place north of AR with all resources; water, excellent soil, flat and rolling terrain and a lot of oak trees in the hills surrounding. It was at a price that cash could be used to acquire. It’s not where we wanted to be (I prefer and feel at home on the Great Plains of KS), but it was available at the right price.

We are both in our 60’s and made a move 4 states away one year ago. Yes we are starting over but I also feel like we have been called to be here and this life. We are working harder than we ever have and yet I feel like this is our best life. We are trusting Him. Thank you for this video.

You are living proof that when you obey God, everything works as it should. Maybe not the easiest path, but definitely the most rewarding. I started watching your channel because you have the life I have always wanted and enjoy seeing all of your efforts and challenges, but also the rewards for your work. May God continue to bless you and your family.

I completely understand. We have a disabled child, and by moving we are moving away from my mother who has helped us for the past 8 years. It’s scary. We could very easily find ourselves homebound with him if we cannot find the help we need. But we feel very strongly the L-rd is leading us to AR, and we are stepping out in faith knowing he will care for us.

Wow, just wow. We moved last year, and it's been horrible, but you are so right. All of it. I don't feel called here, but I am closer to the Lord, know much better how to listen to Him, that things won't be necessarily smooth sailing, and I feel less materialistic and that THIS is not our home, that Heaven is our forever destination.
