Mordecai may have done some s**t himself, but at least he doesn't always think about himself and can actually get something done without hurting people. It's why along with Rigby's rejection letter stunt he pulled on Mordecai that I think Mordcai deserves better for a friend.

People may say that Mordecai is a Simp and Rigby a Chad, but Rigby has done some crazy stuff, usually it's Rigby who causes the problems, he was the one who send Skips to the moon, he freed Destroyer of Worlds, he created an ice monster, he destroyed the park when he mastered the Death Punch, he brought male unicorns who trashed the house, he ate too much junk food and lost his body. Do I need to go on? In this episode, Benson told Rigby NOT to grill but instead of taking out the hot dogs like Benson said, he lied to Mordecai and told him to grill them, Rigby burned the hot dogs, it's his fault the grill was ruined, he let go of the door to the meat locker (who can only be open from the outside) he ripped off the safety latch (which could be their only way out) he broke the thermostat and made it colder, he brought living hot dogs who tried to kill everyone (Even Mordecai was suspicious of the living hot dogs)

Mordecai is right, Rigby never fixes anything, even though he had improved from season 6-8, he is the one that always messes things up and ruins everyone’s lives! Examples of Rigby being a horrible person from Season 1 To season 5 include: 1. Stealing a keyboard from a wizard and conning Pops, Skips and Benson 2. Summoning a giant demon into the park that almost killed himself, mordecai and skips 3. Brining in a gang of unicorns and messing up the whole park 4. Lying to Benson about eating his grilled cheese sandwich 5. Humiliating mordecai against his crush Margaret, which later had him thrown off the microwave by Mordecai 6. Doing mordecai a _really_ embarrassing solid, which later lead to mordecai unfriending Rigby 7. Betting his, Mordecai, Pops, Skips and Benson’s soul on a bowling ball 8. Treating his brother like a monster and almost destroying the park because he just wouldn’t give him Sugar 9. Rigby opening his eyes anyways which unleashed the guardian of Margaret's secrets-who wrecked havoc in the city and nearly killed them all because Rigby wouldn't keep his eyes closed. 10. He divided the room with Wall Buddy, leaving all the trash on Mordecai's side. On top of this, he didn't clean up his room despite Benson saying he would fire both if they didn't clean it up, guilt-tripped Mordecai for not helping him, and threw him under the bus at the end despite calling him out for doing it earlier. 11. He lied to the park gang about free pizza at the Battle of the Bands competition. He confesses his lie, but it leads to them destroying each others' instruments and eventually losing and getting heat stroke as a result. 12th and probably the worst thing he ever did in the entire show: After Rigby was rejected from College U, he found out that Mordecai was accepted. Scared of their friendship ending from the separation, Rigby forged a rejection letter for Mordecai so that they would stay friends. Once Mordecai found this out many years later, he called himself an idiot for not seeing that Rigby was holding him back, and ended their friendship.

Well to be fair for #8, Rigby hated Don because he unintentionally made his childhood miserable. Everyone from his friends to his parents liked Don better to the point where people thought DON was the older brother. Honestly, I would have liked to see a Regular Show episode where Mordecai ends his friendship with Rigby after being fed up of Rigby's antics and decides to get a new best friend, in which Rigby follows Mordecai's plan and also gets a new best friend. I haven't watched Regular Show for a while, but I wonder if there has been an episode where it explains what would happen if Mordecai and Rigby ended their friendship and got new best friends.

What kind of meat locker doesn't have a backup exit so that when you get stuck like this you can get out. How is one person supposed to get meat from the basement freezer without closing the door and getting struck? Mordecai and Rigby are in a toxic friendship so why are they friends if the argue all the time? At least with Muscle Man and High Five Ghost friendship is healthy and Benson doesn't get mad at them as often.
