Every Corvette owner I've ever known has had the description said here. Respectful, good family, matching hats with wife, the car is a part of the family and when you buy a new Camaro, they welcome you into their group at the local Autocross kinda like a little brother with a solemn nod and a hand shake that says 'You're on your way'. Good people them Corvette people.

Everytime i watch a review of yours I get all excited to see someone look past a cars stereotype. You always get to know a car on a personal level, a level where the owner of the car only sees and you put your twist and add such description that I can feel like i'm there, that I understand how the owner feels even though the car your reviewing may not be the best car, or the fastest. You put cars at a human level judging them for things you may judge and person on. And for that I thank you!

Whatever you may think, you have cultivated your own sort of clan. One that values a car that just works, the one that you grew up with as a teenager; the one where you had your first make-out session and drove you to college. I would say, with RCR, you created an environment of loving people who not only enjoy the videos you make but who can ultimately agree that the perfect car is the one you own. If the RCR road trip has proved anything is that we are a fan base of motor enthusiasts who are willing to let you do what you love to do. Love the videos, particularly this one, and hope the best for RCR!

Now, I frequent Corvette sites but have not joined a club....now I will someday. All of us who enjoy cars have made those sometimes dangerous leaps by making connections to the people who own certain cars, a not necessarily fair jump to make but in this case I believe you have captured something in the amber of your language...well done sir and thanks

Congrats on 100,000 subscribers! Also, I can relate to how you felt towards the end. There are weekly muscle car meets at a local mall close to where I live, and every time I walk by the guys with the Corvettes, I always hear them having a good time. They're bonding with each other is remarkable, as if they were an actual family. We all talk crap about Mustang owners and Corvette owners and so on, but these guys are mature and have respect for one another, and you don't really find that in the tuner car community.

Acceptance. Maybe a few races and then spirited conversations debating Ford v. Chevy intake manifold efficiency. And camshafts and exhausts and headers and rear end ratios. Car guys are car guys. It's the importers that tend to be the most divisive and likely to get nasty with someone because they have the "wrong" import/car/brand/etc. Mustang owners, Corvette owners, Camaro owners, Charger owners, et cetera, they are, first and foremost, car guys. They might tease each other about having the wrong brand/car, but it's all in jest and, at the end of the day, they share a brotherhood of grease and bloodied knuckles and clothes that reek of gasoline and oil.

I went to Carlisle last year and this is pretty genuine & accurate tribute not typical of RCR's brand of snark. The NCM Homecoming is going to get bigger now with the track open, the C7 & the sinkhole social media explosion. Also I totally know the old blonde guy with dreads you mentioned. The community is good but we also sat down for lunch with some strangers whose wives had a 20 minute gripe session about the unspeakable tragedy of not having air conditioned seats in their daily driver BMW 3 series'.
