I think I need to show you how to skip right through those waves because I have 1 in the States. It's an awesome boat, and so we're my other smaller ones. You were going too slow in many places, and you shouldn't be scared of it. It will handle it faster and more dry.

So I was actually down in the toilet flying the drone when you are seeing the aerials and unfortunately my drone was a little limited due to the wind on that day so i couldn't always keep up. The waves at the bar were peaking at around 4m When I can get a faster drone that can handle wind I'll be able to run fast and skip between the waves exactly as you say. Currently trying to find a drone guy that can make me something custom but havn't had any success yet.

@BoatLife_DansBoatLife I have a DJI I paid around 5k for. It is a 1st generation from what I was told from one of my realtors. He said some people like those more than the 2nd. I still have it with less than 2 hours of flying time and looks brand new. Let me know if you are interested. I didn't get into it like I thought I would.

Excellent drone footage, really shows the hull’s excellent dynamics in seriously lumpy conditions! Absolute USA muscle machine, what a weapon!

We love our USA Muscle Machines! I was literally sitting below in the head flying the drone, it was on the limit of my drone flying ability with those waves Jim!

Nice boat test video! Great to see.. Most boats are meant to be tested out to sea in open water and if the boat can't handle that its now worth considering (get a Cadillac instead)

Glad you liked it! The conditions on this day had actually calmed down somewhat from the day before but were still very rough so i was happy to be able to get the footage for you. Flying the drone in the big seas is the biggest challenge. Regulator 41 was up for that challenge.

Well done video I agree with Leadreviewer a deep V boat is meant to be tested out in open water in rough conditions and as he said if the boat can't handle it its not worth considering, we are in the Ocean expecting to bounce around and possibly get wet. Good video cheers

The engines probably weigh more than the boat. 😅 Great videos, Dan. I'm watching in Thailand and learning a lot from you. I'm planning to get my own boat soon. Thanks for the info. 😎😍🙏🏻

I actually have no idea what those engine weigh but they are considerably larger than your average Mercury for example. Awesome to hear you’re learning from the videos!! 🙏👍… I love Thailand, been many times. That’s a dream boating destination. I’d want a massive T-top with lots of shade and outboard power for that part of the world

Great vids! Curious on your opinion of this Regulator vs the 41 Valhalla you tested. I see both boats where I live in Virginia Beach, VA USA.(Of course, conditions were quite different for your tests) Opinion?
