Sobering stuff for a finpubs copywriter but also an interesting intellectual challenge to make it work within the restrictions. I do sometimes push the edge a little and ultimately it's for the legal dept to decide if they want to use it as is or smooth off the rough corners a little. For example _"easy to implement"_ as Damon suggests is safe, is not quite the same as _"easy to copy"_ with some qualifying context like _"but you have to take my information and then decide for yourself if you want to take that trade with me"._ The latter could be a gray area, but clearly on the right side of _"done for you"_ which is definitely in his red zone. I'm just thinking out loud here, it's great info so thanks for these videos. Better for me to know all this than to give my publication a headache trying to explain to me how the copy I wrote them isn't usable.

Follow this advice if you want to bankrupt your business. You can be compliant without taking things to such a drastic place that is suggested here. Take a look at what successful (and compliant) financial publishers are doing. It's not this.
