You're human after all 😂 Wes' playing is so surgical and clean. Writes some extremely interesting stuff with very original style

Amazing. It would be really cool if you talked about the story of how some of your songs and licks came about

Brutal! My favorite thing about this is the imperfection. We get stuck with so many videos of great guitar players on their "best" take. I welcome rarities such as this. Inspiring! 😎❤🔥

Kickass as usual Wes, diggin that Thin Lizzy shirt. Saw them live i Stockholm 3 times before Phil died, twice with Gorham/white and once with Gorham/Sykes. Getting old sucks but going to concerts before KZbin spoiled some of the experience was the jam.

Those sweeps with alternate picking in between are stupidly clean. Also I think at times its clear to see how important pick slanting has become for his playing.

Wes scored about a 95% accuracy on his own song right here. For comparison, I won’t even attempt the song which means I score an accuracy rating of approximately 0%. Final standings: 1st place goes to Wes Hauch coming in at 95% and scoring a solid A. 2nd place, me, at 0% and scoring a solid ‘I don’t think I want to ever try playing my guitar ever again’ and hide under my bed covers while sobbing.

Dude the rgd2127fx is such a beast of a guitar, I have one, and I put dimarzio blaze pups in it, cause I wanted that old school sound to it, and man! They sound SO good in that guitar!!! I mean that guitar just has something special. I’ll never sell mine, and the way yours sounds I imagine you feel the same! Love your tone bro

I wish Ibanez would name their dam guitars lol. I’ve got the RGD61ALMS axion label. It’s friggin badass. The fishmen fluent pickups are the best pickups I’ve ever played through. Try them out!

How do you even start going about learning a song this technically complicated? Do you read sheet music for it? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've always wanted to know. Surely this would take forever to learn by ear, but maybe not. Great job by the way :)
