There are plenty of reasons to ship them together. They're partners so they go everywhere together when on cases, Reid went to Morgan about his nightmares and didn't want anyone but him to know, Reid talks to Morgan more easily about his problems and troubles and painful memories than anyone else, he talks to him about everything really compared to the others. Morgan didn't want to leave Reid's side when he was infected with the new strain of Anthrax, he was there when Reid woke up and no one else was, he has more nicknames for Reid than the others do, he was more concerned about Reid than the others in Season 2 Episode 11 and 12 I can't remember the man's name or the episode name but I think it's those ones, so many more to include.
