The Stage 3C boss remind me of R-Type and R-Type II, the boss' attack patterns is play homage to the R-9 and R-9C's power-up lasers

The name of the boss in Stage 3C is taken from "ARMED POLICE UNIT GALLOP". The boss of the Radiant Silver Gun is a fun tribute to many things!
