How did you bypass the preamps? As far as I know that's not possible with the 2i2, definitely not with the 3rd gen...

Send line level audio thru the 1/4 inch inputs
@ProdDJD Жыл бұрын
@@ReidStefanMusic those are inputs? I thought they were outputs this whole time... I'm so confused because how do people connect their studio monitors if those are line ins? I wish I got a clearer understanding of the ports...

the speaker outputs are on the back. The XLR inputs are also on the back. The front has quarter inch inputs for guitar or line level audio, plus one headphone output@@ProdDJD

@@ReidStefanMusic and what about for the 3rd gen, because I have it and there are no ports in the front for bypassing the preamps :( sorry if I'm asking so much but I'm lost at how the comparison would work if it's only a feature on the gen 4

Buy a focusrite you will end up wanting to upgrade immediately better off saving and getting a audient id4...or a uad volt whitch are lightyears better

wait so if the XLR inputs are on the back, can you still control the gain of the XLRs with the knobs on the front?

Is the instrument line still too hot on a guitar with active pickups like it was in 3gen?

For some reason, and it seems im not the only one, when i bring up the headphone volume slowly - the left earcup is much louder than the right. Do you know why? it has to be the interface but it is new.

Will it work if I use Mavericks since it doesn't require drivers?

So every time I want to plug in an XLR mic I have to go around to the back? No thanks, I’ll stick with the older gen. My interface is screwed to the bottom of my desktop.

Hello, I bought a sound box and where is the headphone adjustment knob I have a slight play, as if the knob itself doesn’t sit well, is it how it should be or is it just me?

Hi, can you connect a pair of Wharfedale EVO 4.2 to this Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen? Thanks!

Are you able to Test if you can play backing tracks from your 'Samsung Phone' VIA the USB C port, I do this on my Solo Gen 3 and it works perfectly out through my monitors, I just dont want to buy this product and realize that Focusrite have changed something.

Good day. To be connected to a laptop, is it necessary to connect the interface to an outlet?
@ReidStefanMusic11 ай бұрын
It’s not necessary but the extra electricity source is helpful for all the internal components to run consistently

please tell me, I am facing the choice of an audio interface. My tasks are: streaming with an xlr studio dynamic microphone, voiceover, and listening to music with good headphones for a bit. I am interested in the audio interface where the best output sound quality and stable software are best. The price is up to $ 200. I am considering options: focusrite 2i2 4 gen, universal audio volt2 (there is also interest in 276, but it costs $ 270 already) and motu m2. In terms of accessibility, this is focusrite, judging by the reviews and especially because of the vintage sound, this is volt 2, but there are also many people who prefer motu. Well, a small addition, I considered the arturia minifuse 2 and Audient id4 mkll options, but judging by the reviews and the videos I watched, they have good sound, but not the best like these 3 models. Can you tell me which of these models would be best in your opinion and why?

If you’re streaming, then Focusrite’s built-in audio loopback feature should be essential to you. id choose the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen over any other $200 interface for that feature alone. I make tutorials so interfaces without internal digital loopback are somewhat useless to me

@@ReidStefanMusic Thank you so much for your answer, I probably hold the same opinion, and in general I really liked the sound of the new Scarlett. As well as my friend, who is engaged in amateur recording of songs and mixing uses Scarlett too. And so I accidentally came across your video about Scarlett and after watching a couple of videos, I can say that you have cool content that deserves a million subscribers. Good luck in reaching this figure!😉
