WIP or not the Reign of Nether mod looks awesome, a more proper RTS mod than most I've seen, imagine if it could be expanded to include other factions like the End or Illagers, heck they could make it so normal players can join in as some sort of "Hero Unit" Warcraft 3 in Minecraft!

i just wanna talk you. you actually can disable proto wall in config name sporedata, after that go to proto hivemind section and set it false

I mean, it's already fighting at a disadvantage. infected don't spawn as much during the day time, and this was during the day. The spores are also generally weaker against anything that isn't "Human" such as the player, villagers and pillagers since they can't infect anything that's non-human. The lack of a wall just makes it an easy target for nether mobs seeing how it also has many other disadvantages.

How do you make your units like the garrisoned ones automaticly target parasites without comanding them to attack
