You are so wise at such a young age. I have limited the number of KZbin channels I can subscribe to in relation to homemaking/home decorating themed. I appreciate that you portray Christ centeredness, gratitude, contentment and grace. You cannot buy those things. Your home is beautiful and relatable. I am grateful to God for you.

Thank you for the encouragement and the wise words. I became a mother very young at 15 and my goal was to always go to college and receive my degree. 13 years later I accomplished it while raising 4 kids. But since I dedicate my time to school and kids now is hard to find a flexible well paying job because I don’t have the experience they are looking for. I used to fight with the idea of being a sahm (will now say Homemaker) and sometimes still struggle due to the social pressures. But now I’m enjoying it and accepting it, I like my husband and kids to come home to a warm meal. My goal is to continue doing it and grow my KZbin channel. I’m so happy I found your channel, this is the message I needed it. It’s okay to be a homemaker and to take things slow.

I wish i had something like this years ago to have listened to and got me thru my younger years. I am thankful for the video's today. At 60..i am trying amd learning to apply it now!❤ Need more of these young women homemakers in the world THESE DAYS. I pray young homemakers of TODAY find these young women spreading God's word and sharing God's scripture on being a good CHRISTIAN WOMAN, MOTHER, WIFE, AND HOW TO BE HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY ARE BLESSED WITH....NOT WITH WHAT OTHERS HAVE. I heard a preacher one time preach "God gives us what he sees fit for us to take care of, and when he sees how well we take care of it, HE WILL BLESS US WITH MORE" If God blesses us with a wonderful job and good income, but we don't show up for work or we do not do our job to the best of our ability and we are squandering our money VERY CHILDISHLY AND NOT GIVING GOD THE 1ST FRUITS OF OUR EARNINGS....God will intervene, he wil see we are not mature to handle what we have been blessed with therefore should he want to increase our blessings? Truth is no. He doesnt ask for much in return.😢

This video called me out. I have been struggling so much and I am thankful God brought this video to my attention. Your porch looks great for the fall season!! I hope you have a blessed week! Thank you for posting this video.

Honestly, your house and yard are the epitome of HOME in the truest sense -- timeless, nostalgic, the furniture and rustic front porch are perfect! Your house looks like a rare authentic farmhouse, not nouveau remodeled to look old, but yours is genuine. So well taken care of and filled with the spirit of God! Thank you for sharing it with us, I'll never tire of watching😇

Just came across your channel, enjoyed this encouragement immensely! I am a fellow mother and homemaker and just recently have the burden to share that on KZbin, alongside seasonal decor 😊. Your video captured the heart of my burden as well, thanks for sharing!

I am really thankful that we are servants but do it with a joyful attitude, because I think that makes the difference. So many women complain about caring for their families and struggle to find that joy. I really enjoy caring for them. I love your outfit you are wearing when sweeping the porch and working with the plants outside. It's darling! Aww your little one was crying for you to pick him up and hold him. I can relate so much with my own. I wish that more people would take the message you have left us and would not judge poorly about it but see that you find freedom and grateful for being a homemaker and that being a servant for you is not burdensome or oppressing you. :) Loved seeing your sweet ones outside playing. They are blessed to have that space and to have eggs they can gather.

Great points. I have a close friend that just lost her husband unexpectedly. She is struggling so much and would be grateful to have him back. I think sometimes we forget what a blessing it is to have families and people that love us. One of the things I regret in my life is not loving and appreciating family members that have passed on more.

This video is such a sign from god for me! I went to my bible group today and this was the exact thing we talked about. Half way through your video I got a little teary eyed because this just hit me! I am struggling a bit with my home( it’s a very nice home) but it’s just not my dream, and my desire to move cross country, we have to wait another year and a half because of work. But it’s so hard to find peace but I am making an effort to find solitude and peace for the time being!!! Thank you so much for your inspiring words! Have a blessed week Kelsey!

I always wished I could be a full time homemaker but unfortunately never had the opportunity. I am the main breadwinner in my family (and was a single mom for many years), so that is another challenge- to be a full time worker outside the home and still have to care for the home as well. I need strength from God every day.

Beautiful! I had an epiphany at the very beginning after you said one thing in particular about abundance. I have an idea that has been in my head for a few weeks now that I now believe is God telling me to do that idea because it will help my family and possibly others as well 😊

As a 20 veteran of homemaking, I still find it to be a struggle to value what I do as much as say, the romanticized idea of owning a tea room or tea and spice shop. I must frequently remind myself that what I do at home deserves just as much passion and focus as what the world thinks I should be doing and count as worthy.

Where did you buy those white slipcovers at 01:28? I have a thicker loveseat that needs a cover that fits well, not just an old bedsheet!

Amazon! I placed an old white curtain over the chair first to try to hide the strong pattern under the white. amzn.to/4gNuz7I (this is affiliated) I totally understand the bedsheet not working lol!

Hello! Do you know where you bought the white chair covers? I’m looking for some for a preload chair. Thanks
I placed on old curtain over the chair to hide the design as it showed through some under the slip cover. The slipcover is from Amazon amzn.to/4gNuz7I (that is affiliated)
