I've studied and been attuned to Reiki 1 and 2 the traditional way and have been practicing for nearly 8 years. I finally started my Reiki 3 class but my instructor bolted after the first day. Thankfully I got Attuned to 3 but my training was incomplete thus I never learned how to attune another. This course excites me and I hope it will augment what I've missed from my training.

Hi Terri, happy to know you are a natural healer and you heal everyone but just wanted to add if you heal humans then try to lock yourself, I mean your energy before healing humans as human energies are more complex and chances are you may get lil tangled energies attracted to yourself . Cat dogs plants their aura and energy flow is very simple and they don't doubt so they naturally heal faster then humans

​@@_trismegistus Sounds like it, but it saved my life. I had been going paralyzed at random about 3 times a week for 6 months and the doctors couldn't figure out why. When I got to the point of receiving Reiki, I closed my eyes and as the session progressed, I saw bright images, colors, and they flashed one after another. I saw a bright neon horse bucking like it was breaking free, I saw a baby being born in a log home surrounded by snow in a vast wilderness, etc. Shortly after that, my paralysis ceased to happen and I started having strong intuitive feelings which led to meditation. Reiki unleashed a bunch of repressed stresses and emotions that years of therapy could not help despite my complete openness in all of the sessions. Ever since I had that reiki session, my life has completely energetically and physically changed. Now I give reiki to others and they see many verying results as well.

What seems like BS to me is all the pomp and ceremony relating to the "attunement" and these special symbols that must be used to initiate the student and all that. Where did that come from? The dude who started this all 100 ish years ago just made them up? He didn't need them to learn it so.... Just meditate, learn to feel and work with the energy, believe, and that's all you need.

They are not completely necessary after all Dr Usui attuned himself. All one really needs Is the intent and opening to Reiki. Attunement are great though because they can help guide us along. But ultimately it's up to the individual. I took a wonderful course online course from natural healer Melissa crowhurst. And she attuned her students. I've taken several free and paid. I'm a Reiki Master serial times over and I feel we should reach out and learn from everyone. Good luck to you Namaste

As an ex-newager said you can get healed in the spirit world but spiritually wasted. I saw this practice up close and it was one tool that helped dismantle a family. You're messing with the spiritual world and of course Satan isn't going to tell you that you are doing something wrong he is going to show you healing please I'm not trying to point fingers I just don't want to see people get spiritually hurt.
