I'm in category #2. I've never had an addiction, but I have a friend I've loved for the last 30 years, who has been devastated by a life of it. She was a girlfriend once, but I still keep her in my prayers and hope for her recovery.

I am disabled and in chronic pain after breaking my back, and currently struggling with addiction to the opioid pain medication that I've been relying on to function since the accident, but now feel like I'm powerless without them. As someone also facing the financial burden of being unable to work and not able to pay for the surgery that could help me, finding your channel has brought me immense gratitude, relief, and a feeling of love for humanity because there are people like you out there willing to give selflessly and help complete strangers, while asking nothing in return. That generousity brings me to tears, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart 💓.

I've been a recovering alcoholic/addict since 2008. Though I haven't fallen back into my old ways, I find it ever helpful to continue working on those things. The pain, hurt and disappointment I caused my now adult children, deceased parents and friends certainly did not deserve. I gratefully accept this reiki energy healing for addiction knowing it is for my highest good. I also hope that it will help the people I love find some peace and healing as well. I have just found your channel and I am loving your videos. Adding Reiki to my meditation practice has really help me progress. I often look for your comments in what you call the “ information section” but can’t find them. Today was a list of affirmations you mentioned and I don’t see them on KZbin.
