Reiki vs. Shamanism

I am in massage therapy school and have to choose traditional reiki or shamanic reiki here in Arizona. I already have my reiki 1 and 2 and do not know anything about shamanic reiki. What do you think? I am also a channeler and connect with spirits so I do not know what is a better choice. Thank you and blessings. My school calls it shamanic reiki instead of healing for some reason.

Hi Jake, how wonderful that you are in massage therapy school and get to study additional modalities. It's hard for me to advise you as I'm not sure what your school offers in the Shamanic Reiki class. It's a fairly new term with varying interpretations. I'd talk to the course instructors for both classes and see which appeals to you more and which you feel you could more easily integrate with your massage work. @@parminderrandhawa9343 I decided for now to do the traditional reiki after doing some research because I had an intuitive feeling that it wasn't exactly what they said. I can always learn down the road from someone else out here. Thank you for the support. Much love.

It's all the same tree. Each of us is the tree of life. A hollow bone. A vessel. And the Sky Father and Mother Earth flow their energy through this tree. The same energy that Reiki uses, shamans use.
