I think this one of the finest, most beautiful songs ever written. Just gorgeous, ... romantic and tender, evocative. I love this song. This is folk music at its best.

I am 31 now. I first heard them on a ferry with my Pop coming back to Seattle from Bainbridge Island. My Pop bought there album the moment he heard them. I have loved them ever since that time in 1989. I was very happy to find out they have a best of album, since it was hard to find their music for awhile. Thank you for posting!

I loved to listen to them at the Stanford U coffee house in 1978. Great memories.

but I've gotten older waiting for your call...I have been a fan since I lived near Seattle in a former life many years ago. "Did your eyes ever shine for me?...we are only strangers you only hurt my pride..."
