Brick Gardens brings healthy food to areas lacking fresh food options. Through programs in seven different neighborhoods, the organization employs local residents, with a focus on young people to cultivate vacant land, teaches agricultural skills, educates communities on healthy eating habits, and transforms food deserts into accessible fresh food hubs. In 2023, the Cincinnati Black Giving Circle, in partnership with GCF, awarded Brick Gardens a $25,000 grant to support two programs, Caps and Trades and Mothers Organically Made.
