Hi Rachel, You must complete the nnas process to apply for reimbursement. As it is from CNO, you need to have an account, and it is after nnas. But it doesn't require passing the NCLEX exam. So if you have made an account with CNO and haven't passed the exam yet still you can do juri, police clearance, language, etc. And apply for reimbursement. And get your money back for those things done. But first need to done nnas😊

If you have gotten your NNAS report already, then yes, you can immediately apply to CNO. Make your account. Finish everything possible, such as police clearance, jurisprudence, language proficiency, etc. And do reimbursement applications. You are still eligible. Also, you can do reimbursement for a temporary license if you are planning to get it. But it's a long process, and a temporary license has its own requirements. So I would say, except that, finish everything you can and submit reimbursement.

Within a week, I got an email that they are reviewing your application. And within a month I got money back. But right now, they are taking a lot of time. May be because of too much application.

Hi Anjali, You can get a 9-digit number as following: 1. Log in to your CNO account 2. Go to my applications 3. Go to message center 4. Check message starting something like you are eligible to write exam..... you will find 9 digit number there. Just in case if you can not find that call on these numbers 416-928-0900 or 1-800-387-5526 and they will help you to find that. I hope you get your number😊

Hello, language proficiency is very easy to meet. You just have to download the form. Here is the link. www.cno.org/globalassets/3-becomeanurse/language-proficiency/confirmation-of-language-proficiency.pdf now you have to fill your part in this form and ask your employer to fill their part. And then ask them to email this form with your CNO number to CNO. If you are doing this way, you don't need to pay anything. If you are doing IELTS, then you have to pay fees, and you can reimburse that money. But I would say option 1 is easy.

Have you worked previously in Canada in the last 2 years anywhere? If yes then you can ask them for a letter. If not, then you need to wait for future employers. But you can finish other things and apply for reimbursement.
