Today I'm playing Spring Lane, Reimu's Theme from Touhou 9 PoFV on piano! A pretty underrated piece that gets often overshadowed by the more iconic Maiden's Capriccio. I guess the fun part about this channel is that I can also play some of the more "obscure" stuff, as there are many Touhou songs that definitely deserve more love. For example, I like how Spring Lane showcases kind of a "calmer", almost melancholic side to Reimu while still maintaining its "main character energy". Amazing stuff, really.

I like this one a lot. My favorite Reimu theme is probably still Dream Battle, but for a phantasmagoria game, this one is a lot better. Also, Viddy continues to be based by making sure to record his gameplay Vs Reimu as Marisa.

Maiden's capriccio is reimu on a incident,while spring lane is just reimu on a normal day. No wonder people sometimes use this theme as the hakurei shrine theme on fangames

I still have to check it out, sorry! I've definitely got plans for non-Touhou stuff on the channel, but right now I've also got a list full of Touhou requests which I'd like to fulfill. While I'm still doing this mainly for fun, the number of requests and song suggestions have definitely increased over the months. I'll try my best :)

0:55 i never knew that in pofv, Marisa was wearing purple clothes… i think i prefer her purple look to the usual black and white. Good cover again though 👍

In Touhou 9, every playable character gains access to an alternate outfit/color scheme. So for this gameplay footage I just chose to play as Marisa with her alternate costume, but you can obviously still play as the "regular" Marisa. It's pretty dope :)

How much time it takes to learn touhou music on piano?

Depends on the song, really. There are definitely some pieces with fast piano sections that require tons of practice, like Reach for the Moon or Voyage 1970...but there are also themes like this one or Green-Eyed Jealousy. So yeah, it kinda depends.
