I am so deeply sorry for your loss... I know some reply text on a screen from a stranger doesn’t do anything, but I am so sorry. My heart aches for you and your family and I hope in time you heal together knowing that your mother is watching over you lovingly. I’m still in pain over the loss of my stepdad a few years ago and I cry over him, but it has gotten slightly easier in a way where I generally only remember the rosy wonderful times I had with him. It’s never easy, but it will get better little by little over time. My thoughts are with you and your family.

They always help me out and walk me to the locations even though I tell them it's alright and I don't want them to walk far. The local bakery also makes breads and cookies inspired by Free! and the owners remember me too. Its a really nice, sweet and calming place to be. I can't wait to go back.

Former resident of Shizuoka city here! I've checked out a handful of your videos because youtube recommended them to me and thankfully, this one also landed on my feed. Even though you didn't show a lot, it was super exciting to see glimpses of the city again after all those years of not being able to return (was planning to finally visit again last year and then the Rona happened...). Cenova was pretty much my go to place for my year abroad, I went there almost everyday, to shop, to eat or to watch movies, so that part of the video was oddly emotional 😂 I also remember going to Gotemba once (I think it was during a trip to Izu?) and I actually happen to be a Pokemon Store enthusiast too! I still have my little acrylic charm Fujisan Pikachu, even though one ear sadly broke a few years ago. Coming from a small village in Germany, Shizuoka never felt that rural to me 😂 But I did use every chance to do something, so maybe that's why it never got boring. We also used to also go to the nearby towns and cities sometimes, like Fujinomiya, Kakegawa and Hamamatsu and I still have so much to see within the prefecture alone when I can finally go back! So thanks so much for this little insight into my former home these days ❤️ Hope your family enjoys their presents, they're all super pretty. And also, gotta love that Pokemon merch, I also own some Pokemon center kitchenware, the designs are just ridiculously cute!

I liked the Okinawa, in retrospect, I wish I explored more. Also, went to the aquarium in Sasebo on a liberty day from a naval ship, and bar hopping, which was my first time getting drunk. Good times.

Hey Reina, I bought the UA sports mask, but with The Rock's branding (and more expensive lol). It's cool, but I kind of hate the ear loops. They're such thin fabric, and they tend to roll up on themselves, if that makes sense. And it sits fairly low on my nose. I don't know what going rate for masks are in Japan but in the US, licensed and unlicensed masks tend to go for about $10 USD. Regular masks can be a few dollars less and of course disposables are like $20 for a 50 pack. I get the feeling since masks aren't a traditionally normal thing they tend to charge more. Fancy ones that are higher quality with bells and whistles are about $25.
