When my grandson finally got to meet my mom, his great grandma, he was already around 9 months old. She was sitting in her chair when we handed him over to her. He looked at her and his eyes got huge and almost scared, then he looked back at us with those wide eyes, as if he wanted to connect back with this reality. Then the two of them connected like old friends, laughing and talking as if they'd known each other for centuries. It was one of those moments. Both my daughters, and I, knew we were witnessing two souls, from past lives, meeting again. In fact, we are sure my grandson is my dad who has come back to us. There's always been an extra bond and familiarity with him that we didn't have with our other children. It's hard to explain. As you described, it's a feeling that is so strong that it's a 'knowing'. And, I also feel a very strong connection to certain places. Mostly, the UK. I think, if a person is open to the idea, they'll notice the connections.

Or if they notice the connections then they can accept possibilities. It is a 'knowing' that is a crucial key. It is said in some circles that souls can reincarnate into particular families. I guess there are all kinds of reasons for that.

Mark, the happy gift of the Spoken Word arrived without harm and was gratefully welcomed. Thank you so much, indeed. The timing was fortuitous, unsurprisingly. A great deal has unfolded and shall yet be. I am composing a rambling writ in reply. It will take a day or two, or more, perchance. I am labouring, extraordinarily so, which is not particularily welcome to aged Rimittance man such as myself though I suppose there is the satisfaction of labour well done and progress made et cetera, et cetera, or so I hear. I would rather be amongst the forested mountains, or upon the rocky shore beside the sea. Reincarnation? Past Lives? By all means. Hail the Oak King!

I’ve had some regression also and I’ve written my past lives down. In one, I was Emily Brontë. She was quite strange, just like me.

I definitely feel a connection (I do to any honest Englishman). I felt past life as a soldier I vocalized this aged 4.I also weirdly experienced being my father holding me. Recurring dreams of massive steps and transport through solid stone. I also get flashed of insight, like you, such as the mileage between random Welsh towns. I wish I could put it to use for good.

How does it help is a key question. At least by the 'knowing' but why remember if there is no point? Stories of young childrens accounts are the most convincing evidence of past lives. Walking through stone sounds very curious...

@@ACoincidentalLife We couldn't walk through stone, but there were machines (like an elevator) which could travel any direction through stone. As avatars of the collective conscious, maybe our experiences are aspects of the collective knowledge.
